Just for fun, we tallied the blown assists in the paint tonight. If her teammates converted the bunnies, she’d have totaled 15 tonight. And she took a physical beating tonight, too.

Look, America is lost. It’s over. Financially, this country is over a barrel. The only solution for America to have a brighter future is to cut federal spending and reduce government. Since absolutely no one wants to cut spending, there is no hope. It’s already over.

Saw a lady this morning, maybe 100 pounds. Outside, alone, double masked.

Nah, I can’t agree with this. No disrespect. It’s just that there are myriad ways for people to die and cancer is just one of them. If cancer is proof God hates us, then so are all other causes of death. And that doesn’t even touch on non-lethal suffering. Of course, this might lead to a grander conversation regarding the human condition. Life is suffering. Death is certain. Our purpose is enigmatic. The human condition.

Yes, I already know that. My question is “Why?” Are you willing to explain why? You might be saying it’s a choice you’ve made. Is that what you’re saying? If so, that’s fine. Just seeing if I understand.

I have asked you at least twice in the past “Why do you believe what the Bible says?” and I asked it genuinely and without malice or snarkiness. I really do want to know. You didn’t answer before. I can imagine what your answer is, but I’d prefer to see it from you.

Man, I sense you and I could have some good conversations. People 2,000+ years ago didn’t need an old book, either. Why? Because, according to that old book, God was gracious enough to SHOW them. But today? No such grace for the people of today. Why not? In the book of Matthew Jesus even says ‘you’re only guilty of sin because I came and showed you…if I hadn’t, you wouldn’t be guilty of sin.’ I think an omnipotent Creator would obviously know that his rational, free-will creations wouldn’t be able to believe without something to base it on. He’d know that. So why does 2024 only get a book?

*** OFFICIAL Kamala Harris Unscripted Press Conference and/or Interview Thread***

I have to disagree with this. I expect her to win the election and I am very annoyed that she’s deliberately avoiding speaking on her own behalf and being asked questions. It should be a minimum expectation that she be confronted on record, issues and policy intentions. The “campaign” she’s running is deceitful. She’s practically invisible. -

The spinning of earth’s core has slowed down. The spinning of the core produces earth’s magnetic field which shields the planet from UV radiation. I haven’t read up on this very much, but would like to know if science believes this has impacted global temperatures. -
Kamala Backs Out of Fox Debate: Democrats Having a Hard Time Trying to Make Her Seem Smart

You should start a thread about the country splitting up. I really don’t see it happening without bloodshed and violence as the precipitating step, but discussing a peaceful division of the USA into 3-4 independent countries isn’t without value, at least in the abstract. It’s not what I want to happen but it is a conversation that could be interesting.
