The problem with comparing eras in basketball is the evolution of officiating, the FT rate and the 3 point shot. I think Clark has over 500 made 3 point FGs. I enjoy watching basketball, mostly HS and NCAA, but it’s a fundamentally flawed sport. It’s impossible to officiate objectively and that will always doom its credibility.

I see now NFL HOFer Merril Hoge, he of 27 rush ypg for his career, has labeled Drake Maye unathletic. Maye only threw 65 TD passes and rushed for 1,500 yards over the last two seasons. Hoge is a joke. Maye is going to come out of this draft as the best QB by far and lock some team into contention for a decade.

I actually peg him as an underachiever. Just 1 SB appearance with all that ability. However, he was also victim of some dubious team-building. Still, a guy like Elway (my personal GOAT) virtually willed lesser teams to the SB.
