I just have a very hard time getting into it. It’s assuredly not a celebration of the birth of Jesus, which is not even biblical. But it is definitely a celebration of materialism and wastefulness. I know this perspective makes me Ebenezer Scrooge, but it’s how I feel. So, I just try to ignore the people telling me “Jesus is the reason for the season” and instead simply be glad that I get extra family time.

River Raid was my favorite. That and Pitfall are the only ones I remember. my first real system was a Sega in 1989.

This movie is comprehensively bad. Acting, story, score, cinematography, casting. Could be the worst movie I’ve ever watched. Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke provide career-worst level performances. And that’s saying something, really.

Yes yes. 99% of the time I want curves and a nice fleshy bouncy tush, but now and again one of these waifs gets under my skin. She butters the biscuit.
