Wife drove a CX-9 that we traded off 18 months ago. Had no problems with it other than defective wheels. Mazda ended up replacing all 4 during the warranty period. It didn’t accelerate the way I expected for such a large engine, but she was happy with it and we never needed to do anything other than routine maintenance during 6 years. ETA: depending on which one you’re looking at and what package, the BMW X5 she got to replace the Mazda is 1000x the car and might not cost you that much more.

Same here. We were dirt poor. My snack food was SOMETIMES the off-brand oatmeal creme pies or granola bars. Appetizers didn’t exist in my house. Sometimes dinner was “bean salad” which consisted of kidney beans, chopped egg, mayo and relish mixed together. Tuna casserole. Hot dogs stewed in sauerkraut. Sometimes Fried potatoes with a side of cottage cheese. Scrambled eggs with nothing was probably my most frequent dinner up to age 10.
