A local establishment has these tournaments a few times per week through Nationwide Poker Tour (www.pokerplayersinc.com) and I played tonight. I feel pretty good about my finish: 21st out of 71 players. Had one incident where I won a hand with 2 pairs and a guy tried to be slick and take the pot. I dre a pair and got a pair from the table. After the river, he shows his ace card and starts trying to rake in the chips going "Dang, man. The table had you beat." I was like "Um, I don't just have the pair on the table, doofus. Did you fail to see this is a pair in my hand? Two pairs beats your one pair with an ace kicker." Lotsa fun! They have 6 games a week at this place.

All good info. The reason I had recommended finding a hammer & nail contractor instead of nail gun is the problems that tend to occur as guys with nail guns try to nail the shingles on as fast as humanly possible, such as improper spacing, inadequate number of nails, crooked heads, tendency to nail too high, arcing, et cetera. But you are correct that guys who do it the old fashioned way are hard to find nowadays.

I dunno. I was far from the money, but I still feel really good about being 21 of 71 my first tournament play. Especially when there were squirrels like the guys who tried to steal my chips. So far I've played a live game twice and done well both times. I'm playing with my father-in-law and his friends this next friday and I expect to do well again.

If you choose to do your own repairs, hold on to your materials invoices and take a before and after set of photos and you will be fine. To answer the original question, my 26 square roof just cost me $4900 here in central Indiana. Material prices have increased about 15% in the last year, as someone mentioned before. Best advice I could give on the actual roofing trade itself (as opposed to insurance related roofing/damage identification advice) is to find an old-school guy who will do the roof with hammer and nails instead of nail guns. Improper attachment of shingles with the nail gun causes more roofing problems than anyone would ever guess.

Apparently they are harmless, but gawd they look frightful! So far I have about 6 of these burrows, but the exterminator i talked with earlier said it will just get worse and worse every year if I don't do something about it. He even said there may not be anything I can do to keep them from coming back if they get rid of them this year. Anyone else have or ever had these suckers?

Definitely worth seeing. I just saw them back in June. Not going to bother comparing them with other bands, since they are my favorite and there is no comparison IMHO. The music is rock, with a lot of good acoustic play. Its creative, influenced a lot of the bands that followed. If you like well crafted and well played rock songs with good lyrics, then check it out.

Every source of academic information I have found on the net says you don't know what you are talking about. They are commonly misidentified. The beasts in my yard are cicada killer wasps, which are harmless. When stalking them yesterday afternoon, they appeared to be afraid of me and took off running like a hubcap thief any time I got near. Basically they are latex capsules that have steel balls inside them. There are two of them and I understand it to me much like a peanut still in the shell. The steel balls roll around inside the latex capsules and apparently stimulate a woman like crazy.

You went out in the mid 90's and now it it 2006 and you still have feelings for her? If you still love her, blurt that out the first chance you get when she comes to visit. A person for whom I have lots of respect once told me that the things we most regret are the things we DON"T do, the choices we don't make. You are only getting older and if you think you could be happy spending the rest of your life with her, then please tell her so. There is nothing to lose and everything to gain! This weekend I am going to play for money online and its going to be the first time. Any tips from the more experienced online players here? I feel pretty comfortable with longhand play and my abilities to make the right call pre-flop. I'm disciplined enough to only play my strong hands, but I am assuming that once you make the move from play money to real money, the other players also know enough to play longhand. TIPS?
