Keeps everyone ultra competitive all season long. It is probably the best rule we've implemented. Even if you have a terrible draft or suffer injuries, you can still make up for the difference by actively working the wire. You'll see the 2-10 team making bids for players still. Everyone plays to win. That's the way it should be. The way it works is the point penalties get applied towards your buy-in next year. So some might pay more and some might pay less but the total prize pool still says the same. We haven't seen anyone suck so bad that it doubles their buy-in but I guess it could happen.

I think Chandler will get a ton of targets (esp in redzone) and he'll do a decent Gronk impression but there is no replacing Gronk ever. I am secretly hoping that the patriots will focus more on their power running game as I own Blount in both my leagues.

We have a point penalty system in our league where you are penalized $1 per point that your team is off of the mean. If you tank one week and you score 50 and the league average was 90 for that week, then you owe $40. Deters a lot of those a-hole moves and keeps things competitive to the end.

What is more odd is starting two rbs from same squad. One owners is rolling out hill and Bernard. Lol

I can admit when I'm wrong. My balt def gamble did not pay off. If they gave points for forcing missed field goals and 4th down conversions, I would be money right now. lol. Those 4th down tries were horrible. Why didnt they give the ball to leveon? I know running it isnt sexy but he was geting chunks of yards all game. He is great at finding the crease and he can dive for 2 yards easy. Watching the steelers blow that was like watching paint dry.

I really liked this kid last year and Forsett is getting up there in age (29). I took a flyer on him in the late rounds but dropped him after hearing of his knee injury. Anyone watch the game last weekend? How did he look? How did Forsett look?

It was Taliaferro's first action of the season coming off a preseason MCL sprain, and he immediately was installed as the Ravens' red-zone and goal-line back. Forsett is chalking it up to the coaching staff trying to keep him "fresh," but we're inclined to believe the Ravens simply don't see Forsett as a running back capable of handling heavy rush-attempt workloads week in and week out.
