League's trying to reverse my trade...

bump...just was wondering about a couple more comments so I could show the league.
  2. I won't tell you which side I'm on so I don't influence anything, but here it is: Edge, Mike Bell, Tony hunt, #24 pick in the rookie/FA draft for #3 pick in the rookie/FA draft Obviously it's a dynasty draft. Is this something to get bent out of shape over with the league and try to reverse it?

    Brandon Marshall

I need Marshall and LT to combine for 16 points to win the championship.

Favre Separated Shoulder As Well! Ouch

Here's the quote from ESPN: Nov 30 News: In addition to getting his right (throwing) elbow banged up, Favre acknowledged that he separated his left (non-throwing) shoulder in Thursday's loss to the Cowboys. Spin: Favre, who felt numbness and tingling in his throwing arm, will now have until 12/9 to get ready for the Packers' next game, against the Raiders. His toughness is legendary, so don't bet against him playing. We'll keep you posted on his status in the coming days. And the link

    NE blocked Field Goal?

I watched the game and it appeared that NE got a hand on the ball that made Indy miss a FG, and the commentators said it too, but my NE defense wasn't given credit for it and I lost by 2 points. Just wondered if anybody else saw it or if anybody else's scoring system gave them credit for it.

    Taking advantage of panicked owners...

I think this guy's right. Why are you guys in here looking for ways to win your league? Don't you realize everyone should be .500 and have a 12 way tie for the playoffs? Don't take advantage of people who bought stud players high that have totally sucked, and then have their impatient owners see if they can salvage their season by attempting to, in their stupid minds, do what they think might possibly "improve their team!". They should NOT have that opprotunity, because surely, 100% of the time, guys like Larry Johnson will come back and be a top 2 RB by the end of the year (despite no camp, which leads to increased risk of injury, and the loss of two hall of fame lineman and their QB so every team stacks the line). There is no risk and all reward by trading for him right now, so you should NOT have that opprotunity! All trades should be on hold until at LEAST week 12 so everybody can be forced into being patient owners and we all have at least 3 months of information to base the trade on. ELIMINATE RISK and HAVE EVERYBODY TIE, while maintaining NO FUN is the key!!!!

    Rank these WR's

That was called "sarcasm"...I'm not sure these guys are sleepers. They're all starters that people are talking about already. Man that thing is funny:

Sleepers? I've never heard of these guys. I'm sure nobody else has either!

Uhhh, obviously no. And you had to quote the whole thing to make that comment, eh? Nice.

    Here's our dynasty rookie draft

You can rip it if you want, but this is more just for info for those wanting to see how another league saw it. FYI, QB's are undervalued in our league (guy got ripped for taking Russell at 1.11), and RB's are overvalued. It's been that way for years. But at least it will help you see the order in which guys were chosen within each position. It's 5 rounds, but from here out will be mainly kickers/defenses/lesser rookies. My picks have a * (I have lenWhale White) Pick Selection 1.01 Peterson, Adrian MIN RB 1.02 Lynch, Marshawn BUF RB 1.03 Johnson, Calvin DET WR 1.04 Jackson, Brandon GBP RB 1.05 Bush, Michael OAK RB 1.06* Henry, Chris TEN RB 1.07 Booker, Lorenzo MIA RB 1.08 Meachem, Robert NOS WR 1.09 Rice, Sidney MIN WR 1.10 Irons, Kenny CIN RB 1.11 Russell, JaMarcus OAK QB 1.12 Jarrett, Dwayne CAR WR 2.01 Porter, Jerry OAK WR 2.02 Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR 2.03 Pittman, Antonio NOS RB 2.04 Leonard, Brian STL RB 2.05 Ginn Jr., Ted MIA WR 2.06* Hunt, Tony PHI RB 2.07 Gonzalez, Anthony IND WR 2.08 Olsen, Greg CHI TE 2.09 Burleson, Nate SEA WR 2.10 Smith, Steve NYG WR 2.11* Davis, Craig SDC WR 2.12 Hackett, D.J. Top Five Rookies

What about Tony Hunt? I don't really know much about him and never watched him in college. Is he nothing special? Because it seems like a decent situation in Philly...and I'm a little surprised to see Irons so high. Seems crowded with Rudi and Perry, and Irons had injuries and isn't that big.

    Top Five Rookies

Jackson is becoming a consensus #4 pick. After him i like Bush if you're already okay at RB this year and can wait a bit. Chris Henry probably has to be right there too if you are going RB. He scares me but I have LenWhale to and the #6 pick in my draft. I'd hate to waste it on Henry and it end up LenWhale and Henry both being busts while Tenn signs a guy like Dillon or C. Brown again to get by this year until they make a run at somebody like Turner next year.

    Dynasty rookie RB Rankings

As a husker fan, it's hard to be objective, but I think he'll be a solid player in the NFL. He just seemed to do everything well. I wish I could've seen him another year, but with many capable RB's in the program the last couple years I think he saw this as his best opprotunity after rising to the top of them this year. The slightest injury or another guy doing something in practice could've hurt him next year so go out on top! He has great vision, good hands, follows blockers and was patient, and was a very tough runner to tackle despite not being very big. He had quick feet and cuts, wore teams down, and had "football speed". His 40 wasn't great, but after watching all his games this year I would've thought he was one of the faster guys on the field. Go ahead and correctly accuse me of being a homer though...cuz I am!

Michael Turner officially a Charger for 2007

Handcuff doesn't do you much good if you aren't starting a 2nd RB. My other backs were: Tatum Bell Mike Bell LenWhale While (along with LT and Turner) 1.6 pick this year and the 1st rounder is a 2008 first rounder. The guy has Young, Reggie Bush, Benson, Leon Washington and now Turner (along with 1.1 this year). His Wr's are Branch, Evans, Jennings, Baskett. We have to start 2 RB's, 3 WR's, and a Flex, so he's not going to be a championship team by any means, but won't be a top 3 pick probably either. So, it gives me my 2nd starter (go Wisenhunt!) and probably a 1.6 next year for Turner. Kind of forced into it with my RB situations and Turner staying put.
