I'd thought it was a slam dunk for any Republican other than Trump since the Dems had been fake villifying him mercilessly for years. I think though, because of that though the win is sweeter. Having him be relevent for 14 years means he will have moved the GOP completely off the Bush/Cheney/Romney trajectory which is a masssive upgrade. Liberal justices start with the results they want then twist the Constitution into whatever form they want it to take or just ignore it's plain writing outright for expediency purposes.
