Ugh…. Just the thought of an assassination like this in America…. This kind of crap should never happen…

I thought the same thing when I first saw it…

Gross breasts eh?

Agreed…. Political violence is not the answer…. As a Republican if roles were reversed, I would feel the same way…. Dislike the policies of the person running, but killing them just because you dislike those policies (or the person) is not the solution… Either way it is a sad day for the country…

One of the best segments on WLIIA?

Agreed…

Absolutely correct…. Just a sad day for all America…

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/shelley-duvall-dead-shining-actress-1235946118/ Shelley Duvall, the saucer-eyed, rail-thin waif who starred in seven films directed by her mentor, Robert Altman, and avoided the ax wielded by an unhinged Jack Nicholson in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, died Thursday. She was 75. Duvall died in her sleep of complications from diabetes at her home in Blanco, Texas, Dan Gilroy, her life partner since 1989, told The Hollywood Reporter. “My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend left us. Too much suffering lately, now she’s free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley,” Gilroy said. In November 2016, a disheveled Duvall appeared on an episode of the syndicated talk show Dr. Phil and revealed that she was suffering from mental illness. “I am very sick. I need help,” she said. Four years later, THR‘s Seth Abramovitch visited her for a memorable story. Before she fled Hollywood for her native Texas in the mid-1990s, Duvall had a thriving career as a versatile, one-of-a-kind actress and head of her own production company, Think Entertainment, which created star-studded, innovative children’s programming for cable television that netted her two Emmy Award nominations. While attending junior college in her hometown of Houston, Duvall was discovered by Altman staff members and talked into taking a screen test. She then made her onscreen debut as teenage seductress and Astrodome tour guide Suzanne Davis in Brewster McCloud (1970). A decade later, Duvall sang and starred opposite Robin Williams as the iconic comic-strip character Olive Oyl, the strong-willed damsel in distress, in Altman’s live-action adaptation of Popeye. In between, the childlike star collaborated with Altman as a mail-order bride in McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971); as the woman who has a Mississippi romance with bank robber Keith Carradine in Thieves Like Us (1974); as the groupie L.A. Joan, fond of hot pants and platform shoes, in Nashville (1975); as the wife of President Grover Cleveland in Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bull’s History Lesson (1976); and as Millie Lamoureaux, a fantasizing attendant at a Palm Springs health spa for the elderly, in 3 Women (1977). Asked by The New York Times in 1977 why she chose to keep working with Altman, she said: “He offers me damn good roles. None of them have been alike. He has a great confidence in me, and a trust and respect for me, and he doesn’t put any restrictions on me or intimidate me, and I love him.

30th Anniversary: Porn actress Savannah commits suicide after car accident...

She was 23... Wilsey died by suicide in 1994 by shooting herself after a car accident.[1][11][13] On the evening of July 11, Wilsey was involved in an auto accident with her Corvette in which she reportedly broke her nose and injured her face. Upset over the accident and worried that she would suffer permanent scarring on her face, she went home to Universal City, California, asked a friend to walk her dog, and then called her manager Nancy Pera. It was Pera who later discovered Wilsey in the garage of Wilsey's home.[1] Wilsey did not die immediately; she died hours later in the hospital after her father decided to shut down her life support systems once it became obvious that she would not survive her injury.[1] Wilsey's ex-boyfriend, comedian Pauly Shore, stated that he was with her when she died in St. Joseph's Hospital.[14] -
I didn’t listen to the audio, but I did find this: https://www.mlb.com/news/mr-baseball-tom-selleck-in-tigers-spring-training#:~:text=So%20Selleck%20stepped%20into%20the,for%20the%20World%20Series%20champions. Tigers manager Sparky Anderson surprised Selleck during the April 3 contest, calling on him to pinch-hit in the seventh inning. The Hall of Fame manager then thought better of it, since the opposing pitcher at the time was the flame-throwing Nasty Boy, Rob Dibble. So Selleck stepped into the batter’s box, bad hamstring from the day before and all, in the eighth against right-hander Tim Layana, who himself had a 3.49 ERA out of the bullpen the year before for the World Series champions. Selleck got into a 1-2 hole, but he actually fouled off three pitches with a pretty decent-looking swing.

That isn’t Dibble toeing the rubber…

No surprise... The holiday week was dominated by movies, including Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, which debuted at No. 1 on the English-language films list with 41M views. It was easily the most-watched title of the week, though Zac Efron came in a strong second place with 31.9M views for his latest film A Family Affair.

Why is nothing being done to address public school attendance crash?
posty replied to IGotWorms's topic in The Geek Club
The ones that are missing school are usually the ones that are the biggest troublemakers that don’t want to be there anyway…. With them out, class sizes are smaller and have the kids that want to learn, which makes the administration and teachers happy… -
No they aren’t…. James Russo is in BHC, Jason Beghe is Hank Voight on Chicago P.D.
