Really wanted Charbonnet, as I feel he's actually going to see the field. Dowdle is a consolation "prize." He has some talent, though, and the young coach in Carolina might be more willing to utilize the talent. Who knows>

Pittman! In the 9th! Holy value picks, Batman!

Nice pick, Hawkeye. Almost slid to me. Was so hoping . . .

Can't fault you taking advantage of that opportunity, ICE. Just glad you're all right.

Thanks. Not a need, per se, but I love the value. I thought about going TE, but I figured Robb would start taking it personally

Ugh. Scallywag. I knew you'd take him, but I was holding a fool's hope that he'd drop because of the time share concerns. Almost grabbed him instead of Olave.

Yes, and not a small thing. But the goal is to create a mock that people can look at and examine. If I were in a normal league, I would draft the talent, and work him as a commodity, especially when I didn't feel like there was a comparable "next" that I was interested in. So . . . take the talent, work the talent. Clinton Portis as a rookie was buried #4 on the depth chart. I traded more than seemed reasonable to the guy that I got up to #2 in our dynasty draft (rookies/FA), so that I could secure a guy that wasn't guaranteed playing time. Because . . . he was talented. Here . . . I'll just adjust in later rounds.

Exactly this.

No lie. I don't like this point right here. I don't hate any specific pick, but I'm not crazy about walking away from this turn with 2 Arizona playmakers. In a normal league, I'd look to trade. But here, it was Harrison Jr, or settling for someone that I'm just not really as into, or comes with a question mark that bugs me. But I could have justified several other players. I just decided to go with the talent and let depth take care of my "same team" angst.

More parking the car than researching.

And this was another of the considerations that I had. I absolutely love jsn.

Love the Daniels pick. One of the guys that I was considering against McBride. Absolutely love his youth, his talent, his upside, and the direction that Washington seems to be going. Outstanding.
-
Lots of good options. We'll see if I played this right in the 4th round. But it feels like there are 3 TEs in the top tier, and McBride is the last of that. Or maybe I'm just infatuated because he's my dynasty TE. Really glad McConkey got taken. I love him, but not keen on banking the top side of my draft on one offense . . . unless it's a record setter.

You're welcome. I came very close to going a couple different directions, including Saint Brown, of whom I am generally a fan. But I really, really like Malik's upside. And that won out in the end. Also considered going running back, but I think I made the right decision on that front, as I think I got the best running back in this group, given the lack of PPR.
