My first League was up to $ 300 and that was 5 years ago. They haven't upped it since. I kept complaining at the low-rent prizes and they traded me to another League. It all worked out for the best.

Mike Sellers was being groomed for the short yardage / goalline back this year. But he fumbles in practice. At least more than Gibbs likes. Maybe Sellers goes to blocking back. TJDuckett will certainly get his carries. Saving Portis for later in the year.

Wanna know why? Cause it's pretty obvious that the Redskins are going to utilize 4 WR sets under Al Saunders this year. Predominantly. And THAT'S going to put CP in space a lot more quickly. Hey I loved this guy in his 1st 2 Bronco years. Not so much when he came here 2 years ago. But this will be a big big year for him. I'm not a big numbers predicter but I'd say in 16 games he'd amass 1800 - 2100 yards. What will keep his numbers down is he won't be the complete workhorse he was. He'll be given rest and that'll make him even better per carry. Maybe he'll miss a game and parts of a few others. Still, giving HIM the ball in 4 WR sets is going to be schweeet. True dis!

Last night I was driving home from a friend's house and a cop stopped me on Old Georgetown Pike. First he told me I was driving too fast for the road. Then he said he smelled reefer. I assured him that there was none in my truck and that the smell was from a hitchhiker that had lit up. I told him I dropped the guy off at the Beltway a few miles back. Then the cop asked me if I minded if he looked around inside the vehicle. I asked him if my rights as a US citizen allowed me to say no. He said I had that right but if I was clean, there was no harm. So I told him I respectfully decline that request. He got a bit angry and told me that he was going to make me wait while they got a search warrant. I said fine but you're going to look like a ^#(&@#!* idiot when there's nothing in here. And I told him he'd be disciplined by the force for his time wasting misjudgement. After a few minutes he let me go with no ticket or anything. So after I pulled away and he turned around to go in the other direction, I reached down under the passenger seat and pulled out my bag and retrieved a pre-rolled doob and fired it up. Just to relieve the stress don't you know. I wasn't drinking alcohol!

Tickets were given to me as I was not preparing to go. I thought I heard it was going to be all orchestra stuff. But they did Locomotive Breath and Aqulung and Cry You A Song and a more rock stuff. Good show. Surprised me.
