You don't have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

    Eric Bieniemy

I just listened to the initial Eric Bieniemy presser .. and I don't believe for one damn minute that he did not interview well. Talk is talk and bullsh!t walks but he spoke very well and answered all the reporters questions extremely well. Again, talk is talk but that's what interviews are. As far as Shady McCoy - the dude was once great running and catching the ball BUT he was on the downside of his career and was being phased out .. and he didn't like it .. and he damn sure wasn't gonna blame Andy Reid. And lastly, Andy Reid himself indicated that Eric Bieniemy was a crucial part of game plans and ON THE FIELD PRACTICES meaning he put a foot in your azz if you didn't practice the right way. Andy was good cop / Eric Bieniemy was bad cop. And the Redskins' players better get ready for practices to be more than the party-time that they have been, recently.

Libs are trying to divide the country

Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush controlled this country from 1981 thru 1993 and during that time, I don't remember the Democratic demographics whine and complain and cry about opposing views being shoved down their throats. I did not hear anyone from this group demand that the Country be divided into red and blue. They were Americans and UNITED they stood. This current group of Republicans are sore losers and don't want to live in the United States of America.

  6. You're silly silly little boys. Keep playing. I'm going to bed.
  7. Dire ? Good grief, man ! Are you crazy ! This doesn't deserve a reply ! Good Lord, man. Dire ! :shakingheadindisbelief:
  8. You're wrong. And I'm not insane. I realize that you hate Trump and you're doing your best to make it seem Biden is bad, too. You're wrong.
  9. So the Rolling Stones have a Frontman Singer, a Lead Guitarist and a Rhythm Guitarist BUT no Bass Player and no Drummer. The Beatles have only a Bass Player and a Drummer left. I'm guessing a mash up is forthcoming. I just don't know what the name of this collaboration would be. Any ideas ?

Mick, Keith, Ronnie, Paul and Ringo

And Keyboards. Plus Jagger can play Rhythm while Ronnie and Keith play double Lead .. like Stills & Young have made famous .. as well as Lynyrd Skynyrd. Plus I like when harmonizing is in play.
  11. Trump's name calling and never admitting a mistake and never apologizing for the mean, nasty cruel things he''s said and done AND WORST OF ALL PRETENDING THAT HE WON AN ELECTION THAT HE DIDN'T EVEN COME CLOSE AND THEN AND THEN SENDING A BUNCH OF HIS CRAZED SUPPORTERS TO TRY AND OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT AT THE NATIONS CAPITOL might be worse (IS WORSE) than whatever you've said the other side has done.

And they would still put out better music than anything available currently. amirite
  13. This is for those making derogatory remarks in the Eric Bieniemy thread. I know that you know being a racist is wrong; that's why you always deny being one. But you know who you are. ADJECTIVE characterized by or showing prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized: NOUN a person who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized:
  14. I'm sure this has been discussed here previously .. because everything under the Sun has been BUT I wrote a piece for an online website taking the position that Poltergeists were a bunch of BS and there was no such thing. That was a long time ago and there were no ramifications soonafter .. BUT recently, that article came up in a e-mail reply and I laughed and said IF there was a such thing, why hasn't something happened to me. NOW, I have a rug on my side of the bed about 2' x 8'. I pull it up to the the night stand and right up next to the bed. Recently, I find it moved several inches in both directions. I asked my SO about it and she said she isn't moving it. I ask the kids and they deny it as well. Each time, I pull it back to where I keep it and every few days it's moved several inches. Last week, I yelled into the air, "Hey Poltergeist, mofu, is that all you've got .. just a few inches ? You ain't sh!t beeoth. Go to hell !" A few days later, the rug is a foot down where I had it. My wife and kids swear they are not doing it. Now, am I being pranked or is there a Poltergeist not happy with my negative article. Surely, I'm not the only one with this type experience. And please excuse me for calling you Shirley.
  15. Folks who know me know that I love Key West, Florida. From my very visit there in 1977, I have had a strange allure to the island. Although I have made many recurring trips there, the one in February 1984 was the strangest. On this particular vacation, I decided to stay at several different Inns. I stayed at the Atlantic Shores as I have many times and I worked my way up Duval Street staying at several more establishments. On my last night there, I stayed at what I called the Key West high-rise. The La Concha Hotel is the tallest building on the island at seven stories with an observation deck. My room was 505 on the 5th floor. The view was spectacular but catching the elevator proved to be problematic. Two times when I boarded the conveyor from the Lobby and pushed the floor 5 button, the car did not stop at the 5th floor but instead deposited me on floor 6. And another 2-3 times when I left my room to descend to the street, the elevator instead took me to the 6th floor instead of down to the Lobby. On my last night out on the town, I returned to the La Concha about 1:30 AM in an intoxicated state only to find an empty food cart on the elevator but with no Hotel employee around. I squeezed on past the cart and pushed the floor 5 button. This time the elevator did stop at the 5th floor and as the doors opened, there stood a Hotel bus-boy. He looked at me with a steel-eyed stare and in a monotonic voice indicated that there was the food cart that he was looking for. He boarded the elevator as I was stepping off but I noticed that he pushed the 6th floor button. I was a bit tipsy but I decided to rush up the steps and see what room was getting an empty food cart. When I beat the elevator to the 6th floor, I witnessed the doors open and the food cart sitting in there but no Hotel employee present. Yes, it was strange but I was high as a kite and decided to go back to my room on the 5th floor. When I got back down to floor 5, there stood that same bus-boy. He looked at me and laughed and said that he couldn’t get to the 6th floor for some reason. Had I not been inebriated, I may have continued with this crazy situation but I was and I went into room 505 and went to sleep. It was not until four years later in 1988 that I was able to vacation in Key West, again. I decided to stay at the La Concha and called them for a brochurer. When the literature arrived in the mail, I noticed that the Key West Chamber of Commerce had sent a pamphlet along with that of the La Concha Hotel’s package. As I perused the the information that I had received, I came across an advertisement for Key West Ghost Tours. I was shocked and dumbfounded to read the following blurb : The 160 room, seven story La Concha Hotel, haunted by a man who lost his life in the hotel after falling into an empty elevator shaft from the 5th floor on New Year’s Eve, 1983. My 1984 visit to the La Concha was just five weeks after this incident. I will admit to you that I did not stay at the La Concha on that 1988 visit .. nor any of the other visits that I have made to the island. And when I find myself walking on Duval Street and come to the 400 block – I cross the street and walk adjacent to the La Concha. I barely look at the structure and focus my attention on all the other wonderful things about Key West.

Things That Go Bump In The Night

I have not seen a picture of the man who died (and don't really want to) and even though it's been 35 years ago and me being drunk that night, I can still see those eyes; it was as if there was nobody home. But I am absolutely sure I saw the dead man's ghost. I have been told the ghost still haunts the Hotel. Thanks for reading .. I know it's a bit long.

I apologize for starting a similar thread: I'll delete mine BUT, I'll add here that he will be hired today by the Redskins as their OC .. and smoothly transition to Head Coack the following year. Again, my apologies.

    Tush Push

I agree completely with your Baseball analogy. But in Football, they outlawed 2 Offensive Backfied Players moving at the same time .. so in your method, why not just let the Defense find a way to stop it.

    Tush Push

It doesn't matter how many Defenders push the Offensive Player and how many yards they push him back, he still gets forward progress.

Good on you. Now you don't have to rush home after Church on Sundays to catch the early NFL game. You can hang around with the Deacons and discuss why Enoch isn't in the Bible.

It used to be illegal .. and I don't remember the NFL changing the Rule. They just started allowing it. And not just on Goalline plays or 1 yard to the Line to Gain. Now, the NFL is allowing it on many Plays where the Runner just doesn't go down. Some Plays an additional 3,4, 5 yards and more are gained. Just another thing the NFL does to help the Offense.
