There was a guy today sentenced to 7 months in prison for posting memes’s online supporting Trump. The argument was the meme’s gave false voting instructions. He got a jail sentence. Meanwhile there is this Asian lady that did essentially the same thing for the other guy. Funny meme’s with false voting info. Her punishment? Nothing. Point being is there is a two sided judicial system going on now, and in spite of your political leaning that SHOULD concern any American.

We, us, America is essentially giving a terrorist organization 100 million. And all y’all are worried about is trans rights and well water. Weirdos.

Just watched Biden speak from the Oval Office. Dude was talking in circles. I think he actually said the words “100 Billion aid packages abroad”. It’s Joe, so hopefully he misspoke.

Every once in a while when I pay my electricity bill I thank the little baby Jesus I’m not online bill paying the U.S. Government. It’d be twice the cost.

I would include basic water and sewer in the city as a function that could fall under government. Obviously if you live outside the city and can have well water then so be it. What exactly are ya’ll arguing about?

Basic healthcare falls under safety nets for old, sick and downtrodden. 100% support programs like or similar to Medicare and Medicaid. But that’s it, and where I assume you and I diverged. Most other services can be provided by the private (people) sector. It’s actually the same for education for me. The private sector would do a much better job at teaching our children. I know that’s mind blowing because we’ve had public school forever but I believe that. And government is really bad at financial management. But anyway…..I digress.

This is actually a good thread. Government is imperative in a civilized society. The People elect representatives to go and meet and make laws (rules) that make common sense and everyone should follow. Government also collects taxes from each individual to put in a collection pot to do things that a single person can’t do on their own. 1. A National Defense to defend the homeland, 2. Police, Fire, EMT to enforce laws and help the citizens 3. Roads, Bridges and like infrastructure for the masses to use. 4. Also a civilized society should indeed have safety nets for our old, sick poor and downtrodden. 5. A government should also see over land that is deemed “special”. Think the Grand Canyon or Yosemite. Properly run government is essential. Problem is it’s run by humans, a little power begets more power and before you know it they’ve overstepped their bounds into most every part of your life. It overreaches and the sheeple just take it.

Both my wife and I got the initial two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Knowing what I know now, wouldn’t have done it. I was not mandated to do so but my company was really pushing it. My son had to have a surgery and there was talk I couldn’t see him in the hospital or at least stay overnight without it. I felt really pressured to do so and will never forget how all things Covid went down.

This administration is really going to give Palestine 100 million on the promise they will use it for humanitarian efforts. JFC. Hamas will 100% take that. Embarrassing.

I think you meant Democrats wet dream, but yes I agree. Why would we support Israel but then pledge 100 million or whatever it is to Palestine civilians (which will be intercepted and used for terrorism). It’s just nonsense and trying not to pixx off to both sides for votes. A real leader of the free world would support Israel all the while negotiating with Egypt to allow Palestine true refugees to pass and then provide aid once in Egypt.

I think we are talking about two different things. 1. The terrorists and ilk will report the incorrect propaganda to their localities. 2. I think what others are alluding to is the Wests main stream media also falsely reported that which breeds Palestinians in Europe and America surrounding capital buildings. Yes and Yes. However twice this afternoon I personally heard on the radio and television they are still reporting HUNDREDS of deaths in the hospital by the strike. I’m 99.9% sure the number has NOT been verified as that and most anyone who has seen the drone footage would guess dozens not hundreds.

We have two sitting Congresswomen doing it right here in America. Not doing the killing, but stoking the fire. Using main stream media’s false reporting as a weapon to do so.
