I have a person from Russia and a person from Ukraine that work in my department. They hate what’s going on and are good friends. I don’t like China, Russia or Ukraines GOVERNMENT and corrupt leaders. I blame the Chinese government for letting loose Covid on the world. However I don’t blame the citizens of those countries, the regular folks. I don’t dislike Russia or Chinese “people”. That’s stupid.

I predicted this years ago, the official Covid thread is so long I’d love for someone to find it. You cannot have a single person (or even panel) of infectious disease experts aka Fauci et al. drive policy about lockdowns. They are laser (tunnel) focused on but one aspect of a virus. Sure they have a large presence at the table but one also needs economists, psychologists, educators, etc. We, as in America, panicked and made many mistakes.

Love or hate Donald Trump the ONE thing that resonated with half the country in 2016 was his America First agenda. That the people here came first and foremost. Those rich men up I95 from Richmond normally don’t do that. They have other backs to scratch for getting them elected or filling their bank accounts.
