Pretend your car is a government agency and Trump said, we’re cutting funding on this car. You depend on your car to drive you here and there. Sure, you can only drive to the most important places to conserve gas, you can drive extra safe so your insurance rate doesn’t go up, but eventually you’re going to need money to keep that car running properly. If that car dies and becomes useless, you can’t get to work or buy food or get to the hospital in an emergency unless you have other resources. The wealthy will do just fine but those that are dependent on things Trump is cutting or freezing…without planning and strategy, I fear for those without a safety net.

I see what happened when natives share land or believe in treaties. I can barely count a native. Where are they? Dying in a sand lot. Meanwhile the colonizers are drinking wine under the shade of a tree. Africa for Africans!

Yes, Trump is making cuts to save money. However, if people are unemployed, can’t afford goods and services because prices are too high, what good is it that the government has saved money? If the money isn’t helping the people it’s just numbers on a piece of paper. I worry that some of these swift changes aren’t well thought out. Also, he seems to change his mind. To me, this means he’s following the lead of others. I didn’t vote for him and I am trying to be supportive and hopeful but sometimes I think he’s a ding dong.

Yes, but I wrote in the last comment that Civil rights and affirmative action would fall under the umbrella of DEI but you know that current meaning with all training and trans inclusivity is a modern phenomena. I just searched my work email and the date where DEI and equity first appeared was August 2021, nothing before that time. I only recall the words Affirmative Action being used and those decisions were made behind closed doors. All this sensitivity training is a new phenomenon. Please explain how you experienced DEI prior to 2020.

I read in the comments of an Instagram video of the crash that a guy who claimed to be a former pilot of the Black Hawk said it’s impossible that the Black Hawk would’ve crashed into the airline plane and it only could’ve happened if someone was drunk or on a suicide mission. He said they’re built to avoid missle attacks. If it could dodge a missile it would be able to dodge an airplane. (Of course, he could’ve been lying, but still…)
