I this is a subjective sport. If it were not, it would be rated like swimming, with a computer reading. I personally, enjoyed both the Romanians floor performance, especially since both Biles and Chiles stepped out of bounds so many times. I just think it's favoritism. Biles deserved her win, Chiles did not, IMO.

Romania was robbed of medals on the floor exercise. I think Brazil rightly earned gold, but silver and bronze should’ve gone to Romania.
  3. I don't like Kamala at all. I don't like the way she panders, excuse me, I don't like the way the Democratic party panders to black people, it's disgusting. I guess we get Megan Thee Stallion and the Republicans get Amber Rose. I guess I'm the one missing it.

I thought the foot over the line won first, but I guess the rules have changed. It was crazy close. I watched it last night and thought, for all the jumping around Lyles did before the race, he should've won.

    I don’t understand cryptocurrency, bitcoin

Imo, it’s gambling and also a way for criminals to launder and transfer money.

I’m going to be honest, it was so surprising that anyone could defeat us, let alone a someone from the Netherlands. It was amazing to see her sprint from the back to overtake the runners in front of her and finish first. In all my years I can’t recall seeing a win like that. Watch the last minute of the video I posted. You’ll see. ETA, No, I have seen wins like that before. A person will lead a race but fall off near the end because they run out of steam.

I was really shocked but cheered when Netherlands beat the United States in the mixed relay race. https://youtu.be/OFnhTDr0qQQ?si=PMogFbGLYusr0xtu

    Kamala Harris for President thread

If Kamala isn't black, why are you all claiming she's a DEI hire? According to anthropologists, East Indians are Caucasian.

I actually like Trump's chutzpah, it's refreshing. If he made more political sense I'd vote for him.
  13. I'd say, yes, she is majority East Indian if you consider that descendants of slaves are 30% European, as I mentioned much earlier. She is likely 40% East Indian 30% European and 30% African. (The English colonized India too.)

Kamala unveils a new accent in Atlanta

She has a husband and she is stepmother to his children.
  15. The First Jamaicans The first Jamaicans were the Taino Indians who settled in Jamaica around 600 AD. They were stone–age peoples who had migrated to Jamaica from the northern coast of South America. After living continuously in Jamaica for almost 900 years, the Tainos were wiped out within 50 years of the Spanish conquest in 1494, due to exploitation by the Spanish settlers, starvation and a lack of resistance to European diseases. Many Tainos fiercely resisted the Spanish occupation of their land and some even committed suicide rather than serve as slaves. The Arawak language spoken by the Tainos survives in many words such as ‘hammock’, ‘hurricane’, ‘tobacco’, ‘barbeque’ and ‘canoe’. The word Jamaica actually derives from the Arawak word Xaymaca, meaning “Land of wood and water”. The Spanish Period Christopher Columbus was the first European to set foot on the island when he claimed it for Spain on May 3rd, 1494, during his second voyage to the New World. Jamaica was settled by the Spanish in 1510 and the indigenous Taino people were forced into slavery and eventually exterminated. In the early years of the 16th century the practice of importing slaves from West Africa to work in Jamaica began.
  16. Sir, I know, you're the one with the questions. I'm trying to HELP you answer the question. I'm saying Kamala's father was the descendant of slaves and you are saying that he was not.
  17. Where are the people who inhabited Jamaica before colonization? Where are they? Can you name someone? Seriously, think about it...
  18. Her father is Jamaican, the descendant of slaves. Unless of course you believe blacks were native to the land.

    Kamala Harris for President thread

What exactly do you mean? She was chosen, she wasn't hired! She didn't apply for a job.
  20. Mom gave 50% of her DNA and her Dad gave the other 50%. Her dad is Jamaican black. Keep in mind, as I've already pointed out, descendants of slaves are a mixed group. We have been interbreeding before we left the continent of Africa.
  21. Her dad is black from Jamaica and her mom is from India. I think that black descendants of slavery are mixed, I think the average black American is about 30% European. Your math isn't mathing. She only has 1 parent from India. She looks like a typical light skinned black person. If they hadn't ever said she was part Indian, I would've never known or thought it. There are plenty of blacks that have similar feature and are NOT mixed. Blacks in the Americas and Caribbean are mixed with African, native and European ancestry.

    Blue Cheese or Ranch?

Neither, both are not tasty, imo.
  23. She is Indian as much as she is Jamaican or black. Don't blame us, y'all made the rules.
