Oh, okay.

I was just in NJ, my home state. I went to eat at Tops, have you been? It's crowded but the food was pretty good for a diner. NJ is filled with immigrants, I love it. I mean, if you live there, you're probably of immigrant stock, right? The state has a large population of white Italian, Portuguese, Jewish, Polish, Irish, and Latinos. I've always had to show my ID. I'd argue that you have white privilege: they trusted you. Ask a black person if they've ever been able to vote without showing their ID, ha! I doubt it.

I guess you didn't see my thread?!

I didn't know Trump was pro-cytpto, hmm....

I thought this was funny and well done...

Even my DOGE coin is up. I’m finally not at a loss.

Just noticed my Bitcoin went up a little. Mind you, I don’t own a lot, but noticed an increase. Came here to see what changed…

I laughed when I heard about it. Still though...

Trump is most definitely NOT antisemitic; his grandchildren are Jewish for goodness sakes.

House Race...called 219 to 211!...Trump to become US first Dictator!

I'm hoping it goes Republican. I'd like to see what they can really do. It's one thing to complain and complain but quite another when you've got all the control. It's put up or shut up time. I'm ready for jobs to come back, prices to fall and America to be Great. -
From CBS News

At my voter location I had to show my ID. Perhaps you live in a small town and there is more trust, besides no one could return and vote as you again. Apparently, 14 million voters stayed home. People just didn't vote. This was a meme or a trend I saw earlier that was telling people their vote didn't really matter because the electoral college makes the decision. I think I saw Ice Cube or some rapper saying not to bother to vote. Sadly, some people listened. My niece said she wasn't going to vote and I really gave her an earful. Someone I know said the state was going to remain blue despite their vote so they didn't bother to vote.

If Trump was qualified than Harris was qualified.

What did I write in my original comment that was about race that you felt was just whacko and unjustified? What did I write that was race baiting or hate filled, please point it out. Newsweek:
-
This is exactly what I'm talking about. Right here in this very thread. See^^^^it's starting already.
-
Yes, there are, but the original meme was white women.
-
I didn't see that, buy yes, anyone can be a Karen, lol. It just started off as white women calling the police on blacks for silly reasons: having a picnic in the park, walking dog, selling candy, being in an Airbnb (but thinking they broke in), being in their own dorm, going for a swim in their own apartment complex pool, entering their own apartment...stuff like that.
-
Okay, substitute white nationalist for Karen. I fear that Karens will become more emboldened and active. (Karen - a white person who uses their class privilege to demand their own way)

I’m willing to question the media now.

I haven't read the comments in this thread but just wanted to comment that I've always known the media was full of crap because of the way they portrayed minorities living in poverty, like we're all dumb lazy criminals. The truth has yet to be told. I know that the media made it seem like Hillary was definitely going to win, not based on opinions, but polls! And she didn't. I saw how the liberal media spent all their time focusing on Trump while he was president just whipping up controversy and not really ever focusing on what he was doing politically, just negative all the time, in order to keep viewers glued to the news. The same can be said about Fox News when Obama was in office. When I hear Putin speak, he's actually talking about real issues and when I hear our politicians speak, they talk to us like we're in kindergarten. We're really not being fed intellectually by our news. We're being entertained. -
I guess you skipped over the quote from Fox News? It's not my feeling, I was simply trying to explain what I thought the person in question meant. I don't hate anyone. How does having an opinion equal hate? Even if I made a generalization, nothing about what I said was mean, hateful or racist. Also, I've said what I've said. I'm not going to argue this point again. You'll be talking to yourself if anyone bothers to reply.

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

Based on my chatting about it, the most unexpected black people voted for him. -
I didn't make this up myself you know. I heard it from my white liberal friends who have told me that their mom just votes whatever the husband votes. Now, this may be a generational thing, silent generation/boomer vs GenX/Millennial.

Video clip of the year - CNN perfectly summarized the election last night

What part was dumb, that I voted for her? I certainly did. That she has an annoying voice? Well, it's my opinion, I just don't like it for some strange reason. That he didn't win by much: Harris: 47.4% of popular vote, (67,025,135 votes) Trump: 50.9% of popular vote, (71,902,676 votes) Where is the lie? He didn't win by a landslide. Oh wait, was it because I said he was only able to win against women and not able to beat a man? This is the Geek Club, I am supposed to say stuff like this, don't take it so seriously. I was just kidding. -
I think what she meant is that there is a segment of women who vote as their husbands vote, without question.
