I’m going shopping today. I’ll let you know if that is true. -

Stick to the topic and list the ways you think the country is now improved under Trump and complete conservative control. -

Please list the ways YOU think things have changed for the better because every city has people protesting in the streets. And if you haven’t noticed, there is a certain segment of society who is not protesting. The people who are protesting are NOT black, so it’s not like liberals are the only ones disenchanted. -
Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

I had to look it up because it is unbelievable that Trump would say we need open borders (and equally shocking that he’s siding with Russia against Ukraine). I can’t wait to read here how all you conservatives change your tune and agree it’s good to have illegal immigrants: Is Trump actually going back on his vehement anti-immigrant, pro–border closure stances? His words seem to make little sense coupled with his mass deportation policies and attempts to restrict border crossings. Perhaps he’s referring to fewer restrictions on trade, which is probably how his surrogates and spokespeople will try to spin his remarks, and it could also be a slip of the tongue related to his ongoing cognitive decline. Trump’s tariff policy is so erratic and ill thought out that it’s nearly impossible to know what he actually means by “open borders.” -

Look what I wrote! So far, nothing has changed for the better. Unless you consider Trump groupies and worshippers a form of progress. -
I think my lawn guy cuts my grass too low. I believe he cuts it down to 2.5 to 3 inches. It gets brown in patches. I’m thinking of telling him to cut the grass and leaving it at 4 inches. What is the length of blade of grass left after you cut it? Are there any pros or cons having a short vs long blade in your opinion?

Right now, since conservatives have been in control and everything is going their way, stocks, gas prices, groceries and products in general should see a glimmer of doing well. In fact, absolutely everything is bad. Nothing is on the upswing. Nothing.

Average McDonald’s workers wage = $13/hr Average rent 1 bedroom apartment = $1500/mo Average new car payment = $740/mo Average used car payment = $520/mo Georgia minimum wage = $5.15/hr Federal minimum wage = $7.25/hr just looking at the fact that Georgia still hasn’t raised its minimum wage should give clue to how backwards red states are.

Clever title, no? Click bait!

I believe her exact words were I’m NOT here to tell you, I told you so.

No one has stated any of the things you’ve mentioned, not sure what you’re even talking about.

Also, this thread is about conservative policies making us all poorer. It’s not about what you think about black people or crime or poverty, it’s about conservatives at the helm and steering us into a depression or into an unaffordable economy. How far does our retirement and investments have to tank before you can admit Republicans are driving the economy into the toilet? How low must your savings go before you recognize trust Trump, Elon and those around them aren’t brilliant economists? My Dad has a degree in economics and explained early on in a brief statement why tariffs won’t work, this was during the Super Bowl, he predicted exactly what has happened; we tax them, they tax us and neither country wins.

@Strike @seafoam1 I wonder, do the billionaires feel the same way about you and those in your income bracket? Do they consider you losers, unintelligent, prone to crime, disposable, and unworthy of consideration?

You think the lower classes are paid a fair wage? That’s silly and certainly not true.
-
The lower classes take more than they give? Do you mean in tax breaks or in actual labor? The lower classes aren’t helping anyone above them? You mean the folks who clean our streets streets and buildings, the people who pick and deliver our food, the people who take care of our children and elderly, those that serve and prepare our food, those that make our clothes and manufacture our goods are just takers? Perhaps you just mean in tax breaks? The lower classes are the foundation of our society.

I think the video makes it clear that it’s really only helpful for those that can already afford private school. It’s not enough for poor people and I explained that even a full ride free tuition wouldn’t have helped me. The vouchers aren’t covering the full amount of tuition so only a person who can make up the difference will be using these vouchers. As the video states, the lower classes will be helping to pay for the upper classes children’s tuition.

For the person who wants my opinion about school choice and vouchers: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIAbSqxNR2K/?igsh=ODZ3c21wNjl6M2dz My daughter was an honor student, skipped a grade and was invited to go to a top private school here in Georgia, tuition free. I couldn’t let her attend because even with free tuition, I couldn’t afford all the other fees and things that go along with going to a to private school. I was a working single parent and couldn’t see how I could drive her to school each morning and pick her up in a timely manner while going to work. She missed that opportunity.
