doesn't winston tend to throw a pretty good deep ball but struggle (relative to other NFL qb's) at throwing the types of routes Landry runs?
-
idk about considering none of their skill players, but the skillsets of jameis and landry don't seem to mesh really well. just 1 or 2 missed throws a game can really damage landry's ceiling, imo

Looking Ahead to Redrafts 2022: First Four Rounds
cavern replied to Fumbleweed's topic in FFToday Board
to be fair, someone was discussing that, perhaps, Sony Michel (as a ram) should be included in the projected first 4 rounds of next year's fantasy draft, and my comments were rebutting that notion. yes, Cam may never fully recover, but he is a major reason why Sony Michel is not someone the Rams fought to keep (and then start) -

are you saying you believe Hall is the #1 rookie pick regardless of need? -
Instant Fantasy Analysis - RB Breece Hall, Jets
cavern replied to The Football Guru's topic in FFToday Board
so, if i have the first pick in a rookie draft, and i desperately need a rb....is hall the pick? or is there someone else transcendent that i take and ignore the need at RB? or try to trade down a spot or 2? -
Steelers fan, here. Does anyone here think Trubisky will succeed?
cavern posted a topic in FFToday Board
I must admit, with other, bigger, names seemingly available, I was disappointed when I heard this news a while back. However, some have told me they think it will be a good fit, etc. I mean, it's better than Rudolph, and Ben has not been great for a while - so maybe this will be better....I want to believe. To tie it back to fantasy: he's available in my 2 qb keeper league draft....worth a pick? Tia for any opinions -
i think 9 playoffs, seven division titles, three AFC Championship games, two Super Bowl appearances, and a Super Bowl title in 15 years is plenty good to not qualify as underachieving. i've gotten frustrated with him plenty over his tenure, but the big picture looks pretty good. imho

obviously, steelers have to bring in a servicable (at least) QB. if they don't they're looking at tomlin's first losing season
-
Mckinnon out touched CEH 15 to 8 in last night's divisional. what are the odds he's the back to own going into next year? Dynasty/keeper related - he might be available for an offseason stash
-
agree that best case scenario is KC getting him back under contract. yes - as number 2. They have already shown that they could give him the bulk of the work. if he goes somewhere else it's just a complete guessing game. if you can hold him through FA i think it would be a decent move (although, in all reality, his ending up as nothing is the most likely outcome - but we're talking about last roster spot)

Washington: New name, logo reveal on Feb. 2
cavern replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
this name indicates that some people are in command while others are subservient. i'm offended -
I understand and mostly agree. I do think i will not be drafting CEH at whatever his ADP will be next season
-
No, i understand. That's why it was more interesting when it happened 2 weeks in a row. But, like I said, I was interested in mckinnon, but it probably reflects more poorly on CEH than positively on McKinnon
-
the thing that really muddies the water is the UFA status. I actually sorta doubt that CEH was too hurt to handle 15 touches - i think they thought that mckinnon gave them their best chance to win. however, i think it is more likely a vote of no confidence in CEH than a vote of confidence in mckinnon. most likely mckinnon goes somewhere else and off the fantasy radar. however - it is NOT a good thing for CEH. best case he's still hurt, but i'd venture a guess that he, too, fades into obscurity
-
no - i put him in my last roster spot in a dynasty a few weeks ago. there's not a whole lot to talk about, fantasy wise at this point in the season. this IS the rb spot in the most explosive offense in the nfl. i just expected CEH to lead the backs after he came back from injury and have been surprised he has not. i'm not overly hyped or anything on this. i was just surprised that, once again, he was lead back and CEH was change of pace. we will have no more data points this season, so, i'll just chalk it up to CEH was still banged up and is still their guy. if they offer a bunch of money to keep jerick then i'll get interested again. i will say that i plan to keep him in that last spot rather than stash someone else....for now. and i will definitely be careful drafting CEH next year....
-
still injured 2 weeks after coming off the injury report? certainly possible, i guess. thanks maybe mckinnon's production in the post season will help him to a good FA landing spot anyway.
-
i guess, but the thought was he was injured the prior week. it really appeared this week he was simply the more trusted back. no? i would say, most likely, they let him go via free agency and try CEH again. HOWEVER, they clearly ended this season thinking mckinnon was their top back
-
curious about your thoughts on this after the same thing happened yesterday. 15 touches to 7.... now, i know there is a FA period ahead...but...if they resign him - any chance he's the back to own going forward? sorry about the result, btw

Thanks. I felt like he also sat very briefly after a big hit to his side. I expect him to play, but can he possibly be at his best? -

I think a key discussion point will be the injuries to samuel, williams, and kittle going into this weekend. -
is it safe to assume CEH's limited touches had more to do with coming off of injury (as opposed to they are starting to trust mckinnon more)?
-
just noticed he's an UFA at season end
