Apparently nobody. Utah Senator Mike Lee is the one whose name I have seen attached to it he is the chair of some committee that deals with this type of thing.

I think this is an issue that all it needs is publicity and it will get tabled. Like the Montana Senator (and former Secretary of Interior) did for his state getting Montana land removed from this. There are serious budget issues and revenue needs to be found but this is a terrible way to get it.
