I am able to sift through CNN and FOX or whoever and know their angles. When a guy who worked in the capacity they did, specifically on “waste” is telling us that this budget is garbage then I can listen to that and it is going to be news.

There are the screaming head shows on CNN where some are “Elon is a nazi”. Those people would be laughing at how dumb Elon is sounding, how naive he appears, and would be cheering on a mud fight between him and Fatso. There is CNN the news org that will report on this, just like Fox News did. When reading, watching news it is on the viewer to be able to sift through opinion / infotainment in this day and age. For this specific story - Elon, the drug riddled spaz who canned a bunch of people after researching things for a couple hours, was given a standing ovation at the SotU for this work, etc who now has choice words for the budget that will add trillions to the debt it is a good news story. When the talking head opinion shows come and discuss this, it is then where the viewers needs to understand it is as much for entertainment and shock value statements as it is for news. That is where you will get over the top, clickbait stuff.
