I didn’t read the article but I would guess they have been quoting all kinds of stuff Elon has said over past months and reported ion DOGE a lot in the same manner. Including calling him a master bullshitter with his math. Their opinion shows of course will love this because of the angle that his top advisor for this DOGE nonsense is now talking about how his budget sucks. That content produces itself.

I mean I agree that everyone should look at the news they read, consider the sources and all that. But reporting on this story isn’t some case of “fake news” or whatever in my view. Elon had a yuge role on the government (and getting Donald elected honestly). His comments on something like this are going to be clicks and ratings gold so pretty hard for it not to be covered.

Anyways I think many CNN readers are probably enjoying that Elon is trashing the budget Trump is proposing and I’m sure would love to see those two asshats go at it. But, this is a newsworthy story for sure. Fox used the same language in their headline and I’m sure they were ballwashing Elon constantly for the past 9 months or so.

What don’t I get? This is newsworthy, if not a bit reality TVish, but we have a dipshit reality Prez who loves this stuff.

I was commenting as to the idea this isn’t some newsworthy thing. The autistic, druggie who campaigned with Bozo had carte blanche to access whatever he wanted, canned a bunch of people, made up a bunch of shet, etc with his collection of pubescent dorks is now commenting on the budget. You dumbly claimed he only cared because of ev tax credits. Another swing and a miss.
