Totally disagree. A great interviewer gets candid answers and not the typical BS. Some athletes are just lame for sure of course. Johnny Bench for instance was on the teams that I first went to see with my family as a little kid. We made banners, showed up early for batting practice, the whole deal. So I am interested when he is on: His interviews on the DP show are gold. Their interactions are very good, you can tell they like each other, he tells great stories and DP always gets some new info out of him a some new thing that happened in some World Series based on how the convo is going. Love that show. As I mentioned best sports show out there for my money.

Problem is there are billions of people living on it now.

You see Johnny Bench played with Pete Rose and when a great interviewer and a guy like that have rapport you get real stories and insights as to what was going on.

DP show doesn’t really “explain sports” so much as they talk about sports with the best in the biz. His Interviews are the best, they get everyone on there from old timers like Johnny Bench to podcasters. Show is probably 80% sports / 20% random topics. Sports Center is unnecessary as highlights are so accessible there’s no reason to watch.

If that were true DP show would be a daily watch for many geeks!

Dumber than normal, Jybcho. Dan Patrick Show is the best sports talk show out there.

Got to pay for roads, infrastructure, fire departments, cops, schools, libraries, etc.
