This Bill Miller who has been the point of discussion in here today (never never heard of him) just talked up Google big time @easilyscan Sounded all good to me Mostly just said they are cheap looking at the numbers and he trusts them as a business when pressed on the issue Apple raised that caused the selloff.

Probably throwing off the pollsters. The guy’s a lib :gasp:!!

Not really. Buying good companies that dropped 20% in a week because Captain dipshit invents a problem was a good bet to make. Hopefully this holds true. Reading political threads on this place is for humor mostly.

Been buying all the way down personally. Nothing really ground breaking here. Read the racial, hundreds of trans, covid, shooting threads to get to the 99.9% “take things said here”with a grain of salt stat

Not really: I’m just killing time taking to the fellow monkeys.

Sounds familiar!

Guess he has weighed in on climate change (real), and seems to lean towards the libs on immigration, JD Vance’s take on Christianity, dreamers, due process as it relates to the El Salvador prisoners…

But you don’t want the government to insert these artificial means into the private sector to “help”? -

Companies will not cut profits to make things better for the consumer. There’s no way to get around cheaper labor outside the country without messing with it with things like tariffs that ultimately will hurt the product IMO. -

Wow. I don’t agree with any of this. Who gets to decide what is luxury or not? If the car now costs thousands more to produce and doesn’t sell they will just stop making it. -
Everyone should take or leave 99.9% of every thing posted here. Especially when dealing with their finances or important decisions.

How do you do this and keep the cost down? -
Everyone can post a billionaire’s opinion of where the market will go. Good and bad.

5% is better than a stick in the eye. But if you are more than 5 years out or so this is way too cautious. Wouldn’t have more than 40% in that, much less the longer your horizon. Just one person’s opinion.

I think Medicare cuts will be in there to some degree. House will pass something Senate will adjust. Will be convoluted and presented as fixing Medicare for the future, cuts will be spun as waste prevention, letting States determining their choice, and solvency. Illegal aliens will definitely be invoked Tax cuts will happen regardless what happens with potential Medicare cuts. Lock of the century!
