Not reading this thread I’m sure it’s full of the usuals crying. I don’t participated in these knitting circle cry sessions typically so will give you the breakdown of what happened at FBG’s political forum. It’s really not that complicated. The guy who was paying to host the forums doesn’t put up with people being asshats. His version of what that is is particular and specific. He got caught up banning, suspending a handful of people repeatedly, determining what was out of bounds, defining what was ban worthy. Once you start trying to curate this type of thing it becomes a quagmire. Dude got tired of it so just closed that whole sub forum down. There was no one person responsible (a small number did probably cause an inordinate amount of the PITA behavior) it was the years of dealing with the hassle. The thing, like here is free (granted there is benefit to the business to have people on there as they may subscribe to his product and this forum has these terrible banner ads) so suck it up you big pussays. That you still complain about this is pretty funny TBH.
