Who knows, why concern yourself with this? If any journalist were added to a texting chat where this occurs they should report on it. When the people start lying about it you out them.

This isn’t activist journalism. This is how it should work. The guy was added to this chat, had no clue what was going on. They began talking about bombing people like little kids he then removed himself and made it public. They then begin lying their asses off and he shows the goods.

I think this is pretty accurate.

I have a wife, I have many women friends, I work with many women. This is not a high priority issue with any of them that I am aware of and the topic has never come up. Among my male friends I don’t recall ever discussing this either.

The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee called for the Pentagon inspector general to investigate the chat on an expedited basis. On this they added “The information as published recently appears to me to be of such a sensitive nature that based on my knowledge, I would have wanted it classified”. Oopsie. My bad from Three Sheets Pete.

Well Peefoam, I think this is the most I have ever participated in one of these hundreds of threads about the Trans community in the Geek Club.

Fair enough. The sports angle I agree is unfair. Do a search of this place for “tranny” like 90% of the threads aren’t related to sports whatsoever however. The vast majority of my awareness of trans issues come from topics on this forum. That is bizarre to me. Maybe I am just not as well rounded on current affairs, more so “the pulse of the nation” I suppose as others on here.

Love sports and agree that this is unfair. That it is so discussed here, and let’s be honest most of the threads aren’t about sports, is wild.

Is it? Where does this rank in issues for you? For me is quite low and odd that it is discussed here at such length.

Nope. Look I don’t give a shet about women’s volleyball, track and field, what have you. That is beside the point and I agree that this is unfair. I don’t know enough to speak to how this should be handled, file that again under don’t care. It’s just crazy to me the number of times this topic is brought up in this place. It’s wild. It’s not just the sport events it’s like pages of transgendered topics.

I couldn’t care less. This place where I see this topic brought up…all the time. Some might say it’s an odd obsession. Make sure you clear you browser history often!

Right. That was all public knowledge! Again adding the reporter to the chat, that he had to tell them he was on after these people were just chatting away on, was the sign of a well oiled machine. Keep up the good work, Pete! The best course of action here is to say we are reviewing this and just STFU. Another thing will take its place soon enough.

I surmise I am not sure what you are talking about. This reporter did nothing wrong. Pete and his underlings did. He is doing his job and exposing that these people are now lying.

There is no career benefit in doing that. He is reporting on how poorly organized this guy is…you know the guy who runs DoD.

Why argue any of them is my question for you? Often people have their conclusion and just want to post a story about some person doing something and by golly that means all people who may hold some of the same loose ideals are wrong. Yeah that’s pretty dumb but hey people need hobbies. In this case there seems to be an obvious conclusion - this guy focked up badly or someone hacked this chat which is even worse.

Why argue anything with this logic? I think Mahones is the best QB of all time. Pete Rose shouldn’t be in the HOF. Pizza is an overrated food. Soup is an underrated food. I think College Football should add a European soccer style regulation to Division 1.

Not sure about “worst thing ever” but it’s not good. Their response is making it much worse.
