He said he was good to go and couldn’t stand up there and debate this dipshit for a hour and a half - who got humiliated by Kamala when they had their debate. I think Biden did an ok job. Lots of fock ups but nowhere near what you read on here or see on Fox all day.

Sorry I don’t buy this idea there is some cabal of elites running things. If there were something this organized it would have been clear to them, like many people, that Biden wasn’t the best choice to beat Trump would have forced Biden out last Fall and found their new ”puppet”. I think you are making this far too complicated / sinister. Biden was the Prez, the party is going to support the Prez He didn’t want to step aside so that’s who we were rolling with. After the debate it was clear he was going to get wrecked so they finally pulled the ripcord and threw a Hail Mary. At this point Kamala was the only realistic choice for the reasons already gone through.

I think Biden was the Prez and said fock it I’m running again. Ego’s a bltch. After the debate he was told by everyone around him that he needs to step aside. Until biggest names started going public he was resistant and then it became too much. I think he would not have stepped down without the disastrous debate and he would have lost. There was a thread awhile back about how you go about the Mass Deportation. When getting into even the slightest detail it started to not make a whole lot of sense. Toss out people who get caught doing criminal stuff was about as far as it got before it started getting pretty weird.

No one chose to go into the convention seeking the nom. Why was that? If Kamala got skipped over there would have been major issues including the money. After Biden messed up the debate it was over for him and set this down the road. He deserves to be criticized for that. He has been in this place by me many times. Plenty of others as well.

This isn’t an episode of the West Wing. There are real life consequences if that were to occur. They chose not to do this.

That was obviously a factor along with that there was a month and a half before their Convention. It would have been complete chaos.

Ideally, Biden would have said he wasn’t running again last Fall. This allows a full process. Since he decided to run again, which was his right to do he earned it, then crapped the bed his hand was forced. At that point it had to be given to Kamala. His ego got in the way.
