I asked this in another thread. Do you recall what happened when Michelle Obama talked about getting kids to eat vegetables or whatever. I recall many people melting down about the nanny state. This is like that on steroids (maybe the ones RFK is taking ). Maybe this will be different and again I do wish anything that makes people healthier gets promoted.

I would argue his purpose was to get an endorsement. Trump promised him whatever he wanted to get that. In any case actually doing anything in this regard would go against corporate interests. Going against corporate interests involves bureaucracy at some point to regulate. Perhaps replacing everyone is the way to go. This seems like a trainwreck but I wish him luck. I think nothing will ultimately come of this but yeah it does seem the food we get here is all kinds of focked up.

Bear roadkill meat on every menu! If there is a way to regulate our food better and not allowing corporations to cut corners I am on board with taking a look at that. This seems like more regulation, however. I definitely did not consider this part of Trump’s, or the GOP in generals, agenda and I am highly skeptical anything comes of this but will look forward to updates.
