Normally don’t really worry about QB. Feel like can always find a serviceable one. Will have to go back and look at what I passed up to take Burrow. I think it was Cortland Sutton, Kamara types so I got sucked into Burrow as I wasn’t loving the options available. Have always had man crush on Fields for those rushing yards tho and next QB taken was CJ Stroud and JJ so I thought was good at that point. There’s probably 8 threads about the shooting….take the “heat off my peeps” Many people have never heard of this group, I hadn’t. Have barely heard of Nick Fuentes (or Charlie Kirk for that matter who I thought just argued with college kids about abortion up until last week for social media clout). A podcast I listen to about sports that ventures into all kinds of politics stuff mentioned Groyper last week when talking about the shooting. Said almost the exact same thing as I read in here by a big fan of Nick Fuentes…killing of Kirk opens a big vacuum and Fuentes would be a big option.

I’m not sure. There are violent people all over the joint. This is a thread about “Groypers” however. It’s the whole title and everything. Nick Fuentes should be a big part of it since he’s apparently the head Groypee.

This was the sentiment of the podcast (more of a comedy pod but they talk about this stuff) I was listening to that threw out this Groyper term. Said pretty that this Fuentes dude is way to the right of Charlie Kirk and if not him some other like minded person or many will fill that void. No bueno!

I asked my younger co-worker who barely knew about this shooting and watches Twitch all day long in the background, plays video games all the time, goes to card shows where they compete, etc about this meme. Read the quote from an article that sounded just like this. He looked at me and said calm down boomer and something like this is all gibberish shittalking that people toss out on their versions of Geekclub.

I am for people having freedom to do what they want to do with their sexuality. Not my business and doesn’t impact my life. Which ever side is for that I’d be with them on that. Low impact issue for me. Kids getting sex changes is wild, personally glad not to have to deal with that business. The nazi stuff, the over the top rhetoric is a bit much. You don’t want to see any more info released because you don’t know what’s in it. Makes sense. You want the same system that arrested this guy once, let him go on a sweetheart deal (the guy who headed that bang up job later became a Cabinet member BTW). Here is some food for thought…a person comes across as unhinged when ranting that there is one body of thought shared by half the country and that they are all responsible for everything evil in the world and the cause of all problems.. This thinking is the problem. Charlie Kirk getting assassinated is an unspeakably awful moment - this goes without saying for all normal people which thankfully are the vast majority of our country. On a broader scale It’s an awful event for all of us for many reasons. One of them being it emboldens the exact thinking you are ranting about in here and many others on other sewers on the internet. There’s a whole group of people who think the same as you just on the other side of this coin. In rare cases people who have a whole other range of issues have a complete break from reality and here we are. Who knows how this should be addressed. Most people can deal with things they read online, video games and culture they engage in and not act out but there is certainly an issue in a very small group.
