Yeah I see there being many problems with armed forces run by a government agency picking up millions of people even if things worked perfectly. I have a hard time understanding how people wouldn’t agree there. There would be no chance of this getting through courts much less Congress where they couldn’t get a fence funded.

What charges are you taking about that states would incur?

Busses driving around picking up people? I can see some issues off the bat…For instance they will just wait for this to happen? What happens if they have weapons, probably going to need some type of force there. What if they have kids? What if you grab the wrong people? We are talking millions of people. The government is supposed to do this properly Yeah I don’t think this is in any way feasible practically and definitely not politically.

I felt like I have answered you twice now. I don’t agree with this idea that because Trump is one person versus Harris the political cog that one side’s language is more or less dangerous. To wit - Jan 6th. A terrible outcome inspired by fever dream, nutjob rhetoric. There are a lot of insane people out there. We can’t, however, cater to the lowest common denominator. Even with the crazy hyper partisanship and the unlimited number of bullhorns available to folks the vast majority of people pay attention, vote, talk about it at work or on the course a bit and then move on with their days doing like normal people.
