When you google the story (it’s funny how I can find out everything on them) the info that comes up says yes they had for a period filtered the pic - along with the one that was altered that looks identical except the SS were all smiling in it. A point which I noticed you omitted when quoting this story. Incidentally I first saw the smiling picture version on Twitter before I saw the real one and a bunch of conspiracy crap about how he wasn’t really shot and this photo proved it. So it seems to me FB was trying to “help” In this situation and it made an error which they fixed. That seems reasonable to me. This was why I asked the person who originally brought this up.
