Regarding Kamala. You seem to have more faith than I do. It’s all roses at the moment and I certainly hope she can keep the momentum. Not sure she’s up to this personally. Right after Biden’s meltdown she was in an interview just after. She was asked some very pointed questions and her answers were very good. These speeches she has given recently have been decent. She should be able to make compelling arguments about abortion and probably most importantly she’s going against Trump. I’d go 45% percent chance she wins.

It’s all guesswork but my take is it became clear he was deadman walking after the debates. I’m sure he didn’t want to admit it, his ego is crushed, etc. Once it is determined he was going to drop out you start lining up the when and how. I feel very confident he didn’t decide this Sunday morning and lo and behold it’s all smooth sailing for Kamala an hour later. He can’t say I quit without a plan in place and he has to say he’s keeping in it, until he’s not, because it’s a total shetshow if there’s any question. It made sense to do it right after the RNC so you have to bid your time until then, continue to say the right things, take the opportunity to get messaging ready and then execute and off you go.
