Trying to bounce a Prez who doesn't want to step down isn’t going to go well. That all changed when Biden shet the bed at the debates.

This has been brought up a couple times. This will be a talking point for about 20 minutes then only Hannity types will talk about it. People move on quickly.

I have heard this thinking in Jill. Who knows. I am pretty shocked that he decided to run again. Ego is a helluva a drug and being the Prez if you are so inclined it probably bad ass. Totally agree with you on Harris. If Biden had announced 6 months ago maybe a regular process could have played out?

Who is stopping Biden from retiring? This is all him. I agree there may be better choices but at this point it seems unlikely they could move from Kamala for a few reasons.

I would say compared to Biden this is an improvement in the chances. Polls seem to say so as well but we will see. From a theater stand point this will be very good if Biden steps down. Lots to be worked out, not much time. Will be great.

The main forum of there is quite a bit more active than this one. The Politics Forum was very good. Think they just got sick of banning people all the time. But, because they were on top of it was why it was solid.

Dropping out after the RNC always made sense. From an optics and managing the message stand point. Take all the wind out of that and everything now shifts to the Dems and managing this. It would be very cool to watch if they could have a brokered convention from the drama side but it seems that won’t happen. Have heard some pros talk about how it work out conceivably and they described it as full of landmines and not so good. That coupled with Kamala having the access to the Biden Campaign cash and the optics of bypassing her make it seem very likely she is the one.

No one will give a shet about any of this type of stuff in a couple weeks. Just like they don’t care that Vance thought Trump was Hitler and MAGA voters were idiots.
