In my view best scenario for Dems taking into account all factors: Biden announces he can’t do it. He in the past couple months realized it is too much at his age yada yada. Do this the right after the Republican convention. Kamala gets the spot in the brokered convention. She picks a white, moderate Dem, young but with experience. The aforementioned Govs, a Senator like Sherrod Brown, someone of this ilk. At best a 50/50 shot then.
