I am def on the side that any issues that arise with someone and a gun should have the book tossed at them. Laws should be way tougher here. The thing I read is that something like 70 million people own firearms but only 1000 of these type of cases come up a year and they are generally added on after the person was busted for another serous crime. In any case let Hunter take his turn up there. This guy strikes me as a huge asshat.

Was how the gun got tossed in the trash even a charge? I thought it was lying about using drugs when buying the gun and using drugs while having the gun.

Isn’t this practically never charged unless someone has done serous crimes? That was the impression I got. If it’s just using illegal drugs while buying or owning a gun that seems like a lot of people in trouble here

The timing of this happening days after the frothing at the mouth hysterics from many in the GOP from the Trump trial is pretty funny.

Hopefully the end for Fani and her legal abuse

Fani it appears wasn’t ready for prime time.
  10. Politics as always adds another wrinkle. In this case I do think the intentions from the government were good - get people into homes and have them paying into something. Everyone wanted this. W was big on this as were plenty of Senators both Lib and Conservative. Greed from many players in all positions of this arraignment is what allowed it to get out of hand. Ultimately I’d put majority of the blame on the institutions who control the money however. The government was working to allow them to do it more freely though as well and it just so happens many of those jobs and players are intertwined. Crazy how that worked
  11. Talk is cheap! Everyone had roles to play in that meltdown - government polices, greedy lenders, dumb people thinking buying a home with no money down and shady income was a good idea, etc. One thing everyone seemed to agree on was when the rubber hit the road some banks needed to be bailed out or everyone was going to be fighting to eat catfood and traveling on railroads like hobos.
  12. Pretty much anyone of any consequence in power was in favor of the bank bailouts as they were rightfully scared shitless as to what might occur.
  13. Who knows. People like getting rich, people are greedy, the system is convoluted, complex and intertwined into all aspects of our lives and our politics. Personally I just hope the wheels stay on in my lifetime Overall I def lean towards heavier government regulation but that too can also have its negative consequences.
  14. Quite the opposite on this issue. We had to do this, it began when W was in charge BTW. He acted like he wouldn’t then when he was told what would happen if we didn’t act he cut the check. They had us by the short ones. It’s easy for people not in charge of the well being of millions of families to say do nothing especially after the fact when no consequences were felt. Politicians also get to do this when they know something is going to pass. That like one person was put in jail for that was focked.
  15. Everyone was on board with the bailouts. If it didn’t happen we’d have been focked. The banks are the ones who should be the grownups not your average idiot out there.
  16. His move would be peel away all regulations. Then be all shocked when some cocksmokes ruin it with their greed and stick their hands out (in the case of 2008 with a gun to our heads).
  17. It’s always good to be “rich” but is really good right now.
  18. He wouldn’t have any impact on this. He would just claim he fixed it like you have never seen!
  19. Put the bankers in charge of this and slowly remove regulations. What could go wrong!
  20. As long as the banks get to keep making profit on their bets then it’s all good. If they don’t the world economy will come crashing down.
  21. Got to make sure banks can generate profits! These dudes always get the bailouts if it comes to that. It’s one of the few things that is non-partisan in DC.

its good to see the FBG refugees owning the tards here.

    People still talking about this
  23. Yeah you pay for Tesla chargers or pretty much any of the services. I rarely plug in my car at home but I believe in my state it is around 10 bucks to fully charge there a little less depending on time of day. Unless you can’t charge at home or are on a roadtrip I’d def pass on the Superchargers.
  24. Trump loves to say stuff like “death and destruction” and allude to dangerous things happening like you have never seen before if he is held accountable. Should people be afraid if they get doxed?
