This isn’t that. CLEAR is pretty much the same as TSA PreCheck just less people have it at the moment so lines are shorter. They use the same lines of screeners after you show ID. We are talking like saving 10 minutes on a bad day from what I have seen so this is pretty stupid. CLEAR if they aren’t already should probably be pitching in to pay for the physical screening.
