Well other reporters have asked Putin for an interview but his people said those reporters were untrustworthy. Not really a ringing endorsement for Tucker. Who knows why Tucker lied about that. Perhaps he is just really self important but I guess he was mostly just trying to stoke this idea that he’s the one “telling the truth” and other real news outlets are not. He’s drifting towards Alex Jones land IMO.

Why do you guess Putin wants Tucker to be the person to interview him? Why did Tucker misrepresent other journalists trying to get Putin to sit down with them?

I would think so. Tucker however can’t help but misinform and mislead. Tucker is framing this as he is the only “journalist” willing to do this and the “fake news media” won’t do their jobs. This isn’t the case.
