    Dumb Money

I watched it. Pretty fun movie and worth watching. A little light on some details in order to make entertaining. Good ending.

    Leaving California

Well that is what I meant by outlying areas. I would say having all this so close to a city this big is what makes the area unique. Vegas is fine but no where near SF. You realize these are opinions, right? If you prefer Vegas that is great.

    Leaving California

I thought that is what you asked? “Outlying areas”…How many big cities have this stuff that close? Not many. In the city I like the Haight neighborhood I was in yesterday. In the past I liked that giant park that was on west side of city and the hoods around that. I am going to Mission District tonight, tons of food and bars there that look good. As to this city’s setting I don’t see how anyone can’t realize how cool looking it is. From hotel window could see East Bay, Coit Tower. The houses in all the neighborhoods in the city also very nice to look at.

I think you remembered incorrectly. SF is an amazing city. I think it’s crazy people don’t agree with this but I guess that’s what makes the world go round.

    Leaving California

Pretty much everywhere I have been around here. The other side of the GG bridge (Marin County?) was sweet. Wife and I are big into wine and food and have done trips to Yountville and that area was fantastic. Thought Half Moon Bay was very cool and the whole drive down to Santa Cruz. I’m huge golfer and the Carmel area is world famous and didn’t disappoint. If I had unlimited cash this would def be an area I’d look at.

Big cities def have bad parts. The setup of this city is so unique and the outlying areas are amazing. I get the crazy price tags. It is one of best areas in country IMO. I am also watching where I am stepping.

It happens to be true. SF way up there for unique big US cities. NYC, New Orleans, Seattle come to mind as well.

I walked from Haight to Union Square area last night. Skirted the Tenderloin which has always been nuts. It still is!
