The vast majority of the charges have been related to violence, entering the building, disrupting an official procedure. Last I saw there were around 50ish charges of 1100ish that were involving conspiracy.

That is a good question and one that is probably not simple to answer. Here is a good account from one informant there that day To me it sounds like a complete mess and chaos - which we have the advantage of watching on TV.
