Oz (perfect) 2. Game of Thrones (knocked down a spot from a bad final 2 episodes) 3. Sopranos (knocked down a spot from a bad final season) 4. Deadwood (Al Swearengen might be my favorite character of all time) 5. Boardwalk Empire True Detective may have had the greatest 1st season of all, but the follow ups ruined it as a series.
