Drive 20 minutes to train. Potentially wait 5 to 20 minutes for late train. 35 minute train ride. 15 to 30 minute subway ride, then 10 minute walk

I worked my arse off the 1st couple years when I was WFH, praying my hard work would be noticed and I would be able to keep WFH. I got a promotion and was paid way more than I should have been making. I still decided working near home was better, even at less pay. WFH was always going to end. Was going to go from 3 days a week to 2 or 1.

I'm not sure when it happened, but I have really lost the urge.
