But once again I want to point out that almost all of the arguments made by Trump supporters in this thread are about the rest of us supposedly exaggerating the amount of tariffs, which implies agreement on the core issue that the greater amount of tariffs the worse things are. Are we at least united on this principle?

Question for you: if exemptions from tariffs are “winning” (I agree with you on this) can we also agree that the tariffs themselves are “losing”?

Trump said today that Jasmine Crockett is a “low IQ individual.” He has said the same thing about every black woman he dislikes.

We’re not going to get real close. Come one you and I can disagree on what SHOULD be done but we can agree on what WILL be done. You know they’re not going to get rid of 3 million people right? Most of them work and it would gut the economy to send them away. You get this right? It’s never going to happen.

Trump complained today that due process would require 3 million trials. But it doesn’t. First off we’re not deporting 3 million people, ever. I don’t care what he says. Second, due process doesn’t mean a trial, it means a hearing to make sure you’re who the government says you are, that you’re not a citizen, a felon, etc, Some of these hearings might take no more than 5 minutes before a judge.

It’s only political because of conservatives. 100% the sole reason.

I am in favor of well-regulated, generally open immigration to the United States.

I’m not in favor of an open border in the U.S. And Israel is a tiny country with almost no available land. If that were the case here my views would be quite different, but it isn’t.
