If Karmelo was a white kid, and the victim black, all the maga folks would be rushing to his side, arguing self-defense and calling him a hero. We know this is true because we have example after example of it being true.

He wants more white people. Like many of those who supports him, he feels threatened by black and brown skinned people becoming a majority.

As always you are so impressed by tough talk that never goes anywhere and never actually accomplishes anything.

First off I going to guess that, given the amount of people DOGE laid off that performed these functions for us in the past, these collections are going to be quite difficult and take a long time to accomplish. Second, people should ask themselves whether or not this sort of draconian collections, if actually carried out, will help or hurt our economy. I have a pretty strong feeling that it will be very very bad, given the fact that these same young people are the ones we are relying on to purchase new homes as well as other investments.

The only reason the market went up today is because Trump’s main economic guy admitted that the tariffs on China were unsustainable so the hope is now that Trump will retreat from his terrible policies. Trump also admitted this evening that it was all a bluff, he has no intention of firing Jerome Powell, so I expect the market to rise tomorrow too. Are you noticing a pattern here? Every time Trump goes through with his plans the market crashes. Everytime he surrenders, the market goes back up. What does that tell you? Trump has been a complete disaster for our economy and it’s only been a few months. He was terrible last time but he’s been far far worse this time. And investors know it.

In economic terms compared to the USA? Yes. But even so it’s stupid for them to have tariffs.

It’s very tempting for small countries to try to protect their own industries. That’s why they have them. It’s stupid for us.

The thing about tariffs is you don’t have to be a genius to know they totally suck. It’s the opposite- only morons like them. So you should feel comfortable.

I stopped here because it’s TOTAL NONSENSE and it makes the rest of your post irrelevant. No, tariffs will not make our economy healthy long term. They will not bring manufacturing back. This is a fool’s errand. The way to grow the economy is through more trade not less. We can sustain the debt we have and even more so long as the economy keeps growing. What we can’t afford is shrink the economy, that’s when the debt becomes unsustainable.

To answer your question no. But if all that happens (and I hope it does) I will regard Trump as a successful President and say so.

But the damage is already done…. It is simply amazing that Trump took over such a strong economy and has all by himself run it into the ground. All he had to do was do nothing, go play golf. He did the same years ago with his casinos so I really shouldn’t be surprised, I guess. What a disaster.

They’re not gullible. It’s far worse than that. They know what’s going on but they honestly believe that “Fock the libs” makes it all worth it.

I can. The MAGA crowd loves this guy. They actually love that he is incompetent because they know that pisses liberals off. They see that as more valuable than protecting the country at this point. If Hegseth is forced to resign that’s a “win” for the libs, and MAGA won’t allow that. I think it’s about 60-40 he stays.

Everything I read about this tells me this guy is guilty, But then I thought that George Zimmerman was guilty. And that Kyle Rittenhouse was guilty, Boyh of those dudes somehow escaped justice by claiming self-defense. Both of them became heroes to the Right. Will Kamelo Anthony, who is also claiming self- defense, become a hero to conservatives? Somehow I doubt it…
