This is a legitimate critique. It shouldn’t matter, but in our communication age of course it does. Abraham Lincoln was infamous for telling coarse jokes at the most unfortunate times- for that and many other reasons (such as his whiny voice by all accounts) he would have NO chance of being elected in the modern age. I’m looking at Corey Booker as a potential candidate next time around. Always liked him and he’s raised his status considerably.

Well let’s examine this: 1. $20 an hr, before any withholding, is $800 a week. After withholding that come to about $2500 per month. 2. Average rent for a studio apartment in the USA is $1574. Much much higher in certain states like mine. 3. Average car payment in USA is $742. Not including insurance. That leaves less than $300 for food for the month, insurance, utilities, and everything else. My conclusion is you’re wrong.

And she wouldn’t have done the tariffs. That alone, in addition to everything else, would have made her a better President. We tried to tell you this, you didn’t listen. The debate between them should have told you she was much smarter, more knowledgeable, better prepared than Trump. You weren’t paying attention. Now we all suffer.

Elon appears to be finally waking up. Makes sense: he lost 30 billion in the last two days. Anyhow he ripped Peter Navarro (Trump’s main tariff advisor) as an idiot and said he wants a no tariff zone between us and Europe. if only. But I doubt Trump’s going to listen to him either…

One of the issues that nobody is paying much attention to yet: the large number of people from Europe and Canada who are cancelling their planned trips to the USA as retaliation because they don’t want to spend money here. This shouldn’t be dismissed; the impact could be terrible for us, particularly in California and Florida.

Not the best description of my life but it does apply well to Trump’s.

If you can explain why this subject is at all relevant to issue of tariffs I’ll be happy to tell you exactly how that all went down.
