Two years in and he has less than 20% of the country, he’s lost billions and thousands of Russians, made his army look incompetent, destroyed his economy. And it’s a stalemate. Another possibility is that your viewpoint is completely warped, removed from reality, and heavily influenced by your political convictions. You really should consider this as an alternative. Both things could be true. I suspect that Reid was, at the time, attacking Crist’s hypocrisy of hiding his homosexuality while supporting the Republican platform which was anti-gay. Im not personally a fan of such attacks on closeted gay conservatives but for a time they were pretty popular for some on the left.

OK. That’s a reasonable argument if true. I haven’t heard anyone on the news, including Trump defenders, make it. I still wish it were being done in a less coercive fashion because I don’t think that aspect is good for us- I prefer the old Theodore Roosevelt strategy of “talk softly and carry a big stick” over “talk harshly and carry a big stick”. But if those minerals are truly vital to our interests then we should pursue obtain them, obviously.

Given the recent polls showing Trump losing support I will be surprised if these ratings don’t go up fairly soon.

I’m never around at that time of day to watch Joy Reid. I enjoyed her commentary as part of the group on special events. I really like Steele and Sanders though. Both are smart people. Steele in particular has centrist views on most issues that I identify with.

He can offer this defense. I don’t find it compelling and I don’t think a jury will either. But we will see, hopefully.

For the Georgia crime: it was always the Georgia crime. He’s on tape asking for 12,000 votes. That’s a crime; he’s guilty as sin. They should have indicted him a month later but the indictment stands. As soon as he leaves office he should stand trial for it. Hopefully he will.

He will also be in prison (with any luck.)

It’s fun to discuss (or scary to discuss, depending on who you are) but let’s have a reality check here: changing the Constitution these days is almost an impossible task.

The mainstream media says you’re being lied to about this. I get that you don’t trust the MSM but it should bother you that every time Musk gets challenged about a false claim he says “oops we got that one wrong.” And this has happened several times now. So the narrative, that you have fully bought into, that they are uncovering massive waste and saving money for the taxpayer is just not holding up under scrutiny.
