If you think I’m being emotional here is your opportunity to offer a reasoned argument as to why I am off base.

It’s a new argument that I didn’t consider before. But I listened to a well known economist, Paul Krugman, the other day and he said that the threat alone creates instability which can cause prices to rise. That made sense to me. Perhaps you disagree but if you find it “illiterate” feel free to make your case.

How will you explain it when Democrats win again as inevitably they will?

I didn’t ignore it. I read everyone of your posts. I don’t always respond because sometimes you write things so stupid that I feel bad for you and would prefer not to highlight your idiocy. That was such an instance. I will repeat my earlier argument that sometimes in rare instances it’s justifiable to disobey laws if those laws are clearly immoral. This principle was established by the United States at the Nuremberg Trials when it was determined that military officers, civil servants and private citizens had a moral duty to refuse to obey immoral laws or instructions. This principle does not apply to most instances and it certainly doesn’t apply to corrupt Donald Trump. So no I’m not a hypocrite and I will continue to call Trump a lawbreaker and continue to call you a supporter of lawbreaking. Suck it right back.

1. You don’t have firsthand knowledge that they knew anything about 9/11, which is what you wrote. You suspect they knew something, that’s all. Which is meaningless. 2. You wrote “Jewish owned company.” I suspect that means that the ownership had a Jewish sounding surname. Unfortunately you wrote this in response to @Frozenbeernuts anti-Semitic screed accusing Israel of being behind 9/11. Very unfortunate for you because by doing so you appear to agree with, or at least accept the possibility of, his bigoted nonsense. But you’re welcome to repudiate that.

1. Tariffs, and the threat of tariffs, cause inflation to rise, 2. The threat of replacement or removal of millions undocumented workers being paid low wages off the books will cause inflation to rise. Please explain why these two arguments are “illiterate”.

Not just MAGAs, a plurality of all voters did. Right now Trump is as popular as he’s ever been. A majority of the public like his energy and approve of the DOGE stuff. He’s riding high. But none of this will last if prices continue to rise.

I am honestly fearful that these comments will result in a terrorist attack against the United States.

Three things are causing inflation to rise: 1. Bird flu: Trump is not responsible but his decisions to pull out of WHO and cut funding to CDC are not helping. 2. Tariffs and threat of more tariffs: Trump is directly responsible. 3. Persecution of our undocumented work force: Trump is directly responsible.

Here’s the two problems with your analysis: 1. Democrats aren’t going to change. They’re still going to be liberal and still going to be woke. 2. Democrats are going to win big in 2026, and win back the Presidency in 2028 or at the latest 2032. How will you explain it?

Your first two sentences are a contradiction. And you’re too stupid to realize it.

@Strike‘s other lie is that there is anything conservative about what Trump is doing. Tariffs are not conservative. Nativism and anti-immigrant rhetoric is not conservative. Isolationism is not conservative. Be for all of these things if you want but don’t pretend you’re a disciple of the ideas of Eisenhower, Goldwater or Reagan. You’re not. You’re a collectivist. You’re actually closer to Marxism than you are to capitalism. Own it.

You’re right that if the country prospers it won’t matter but these policies are awful and they’re not going to cause the country to prosper (I hope I’m wrong about that but I’m not.) That’s fine, it’s better than nothing. Government should be more efficient. But I can 100% guarantee this won’t make the slightest difference to your life or mine.
