All of this argument over Musk’s motivations is really beside the point. I am willing to accept, for the sake of moving beyond this issue, your assertion that Elon Musk is behaving selflessly in his new role, genuinely seeking to help the USA be better. That doesn’t exactly fit with his telling all sorts of falsehoods about what he has discovered but so be it. The real question should be: are Musk’s changes and cuts and firings, whatever their motivation, beneficial to our country? Time will tell but it doesn’t look good to me. I think we’re cutting things too rapidly that will bite us later on.

(Of course, Zelensky could never win by the 87% margin that Putin won in his last supposed “election”. And Trump praises him and calls Zelensky a dictator.) So embarrassing. And you guys love him. It’s not that difficult a question. Just like in the Korean War, you support one side until the other side realizes they can’t win, and then you negotiate a peace. But you do it in a way that protects the side we are supporting.

Trolling? You do realize we haven’t sent Ukraine hardly any money at all right? We’ve mostly invested the money for this war on developing new weaponry which allows to send Ukraine our surplus weaponry. That’s like 95% of the billions we have spent on this war.

Look, Zelensky could be the most corrupt, biggest puppet on the planet, and it doesn’t change the fact that the Russians invaded and murdered thousands of innocent people. There is NOTHING you could say about Zelensky that would convince me that we shouldn’t support Ukraine, because Russia is the aggressor. During World War II we supported Josef Stalin, the biggest mass murderer in all of history. And that was the right move because the Nazis were the bigger threat. I have no idea if Zelensky is a good guy or a bad guy or a puppet and I could not care less. We need to support Ukraine because they are the victims in this struggle.
