Not sure why they would bother to take it up. If they do it’s likely to be a unanimous decision rebuking Trump.

Now that he has called for ethnic cleansing, he should not have the decency to show up in public. He is a disgrace to the office he serves.

The other issue is, in all this supposed “head faking”: last night the President of the United States called for a war crime, ethnic cleansing, to happen. Truly shameful, a new low for any President since the 19th century.

Last night: Trump: We will put troops in Gaza if we have to. We will be responsible for making Gaza safe and building something new and wonderful ther. This morning: Leavitt: President Trump never committed to putting any troops in Gaza. He never committed to spending any taxpayer money in Gaza. This is what I’m talking about. In order to be a spokesperson for Donald Trump, you have to be willing to contradict him, soften his statements and sometimes just outright lie. It’s embarrassing for her and shameful for the country.

I can’t tell you if it would suck or not since she’s none of those things. And yeah it will be a long 4 years.

It’s exhausting, even for us political junkies. Trump has the power, he and the Republicans can make all the changes they like. The Dems can do little to stop it. If the public is happy with these changes they will stick. If the public is unhappy they will elect Democrats again and all of Trump’s changes will be for naught. Personally I don’t like nearly anything Trump is doing but most of it’s mainly for show so far; other than the tariff on China very little of actual note has happened.

This is always a possibility. But even if that’s true there’s a big difference and huge risk here. It’s one thing to troll and piss off liberals. It’s quite another to troll and piss off Muslims. That hasn’t worked out so well in the past.

Look I’m actually with the conservatives here on this one, I think Trump has the right to do this stuff- to an extent. He can’t actually end programs without the consent of Congress. But getting his own people in there’, redirecting spending, getting financial information- he’s got the power to do this and elections have consequences. The proof, as always, is in the pudding. Up to this point, as I keep saying, most of what Trump is doing is performative. Like for example he’s going to issue an executive order about transgender athletes- people will no doubt pay a lot of attention to that (especially here) but it affects maybe .01% of Americans. When the general public starts to be affected by anything Trump does, then we’ll see.

No, WV can’t afford to do that. They don’t have the money for programs such as these. If we’re going to do it we all have to pay for it. Which leads us back to the Department of Education. Maybe it’s not such a bad thing after all?

It always cracks me up how much you guys try to find excuses for Trump, how he really doesn’t mean half the crazy sh!t he says. He means it. Of course he’ll change his mind when he learns it’s unpopular- dude is the biggest coward I’ve ever seen. But at the time he says something like this he believes it. Guy is extremely unstable.
