People who believe that vaccines are dangerous are accepting pseudo-science in the place of real science. People who believe that the Holocaust never happened are accepting pseudo-history in the place of real history. It’s actually quite similar.

Allow me to quote President Trump: “Common sense. All right?”

All of you guys calling me stupid for believing the scientists is pretty hilarious. It just makes you look even worse. Why not just admit you hate trans people because you think it’s weird and gross and you’re secretly afraid that your son or daughter or you yourself might have such tendencies? Just admit that there’s no science to back up your bigotry, it’s all a bunch of hateful garbage, that your fear of these folks is much closer to a mental disease than any aspect of what they do. If you’re willing to admit these things then we can have a fruitful discussion.

I’m not trying to force anyone to believe in anything. You want to believe that trans is a disease, have at it. I know what 99% of the respected scientists say; you want to ignore them up to you. I AM trying to get you and others to leave these people alone. Let them have dignity and respect. Don’t discriminate against them, allow them to join the military and have the same rights as anyone else. What Trump is doing is wrong.

Yeah the vast majority of the world’s doctors and scientists are stupid .(And yes it’s the vast majority, a near universal consensus no matter what people here think.) instead I should listen to a bunch of narrow minded bigots on the internet. That would be the “smart” move, right?

No and I won’t. It’s like asking me to read the opinion of a nuclear physicist who thinks Einstein is full of sh!t and the Theory of Relativity is total crap. I don’t read pseudo science. When the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, the CDC, the World Health Organization tell me that trans is a mental disease, then I’ll believe it. Not before. Until that happens I will ignore all your “evidence” because I know it’s BS.

Interesting that so few people here are commenting on this issue which is blowing up on Trump. I predict that if they actually go through with dropping these charges the Governor of New York will remove Adams (she has the power to do so) and the state will charge him. They can’t allow Trump to get away with this corruption, and they also need to resist what Tom Homan is trying to do.

Here’s what I think: you WANT to believe that trans is a disease because it fits your world view and bigoted ideology. So you pick and choose and find a few scientists that agree with you and ignore the views of the vast majority of highly respected scientists. And yes you do the same thing with climate change, with vaccines, and with the news media in general. This is why it’s almost impossible for reasonable people to have conversations with folks like @Strike. They have created, in recent years, their own facts and their own reality. Nicolle Wallace on MSNBC has a word for this: Earth 2. That’s where you live.

There are always wackos looking for attention. Like the climate change skeptics, the vaccine skeptics, the Holocaust deniers. All of these groups deserve the same amount of respect (which is none.)

This is becoming a huge story. Everyone that has been ordered to dismiss this case against Adams has resigned. Nobody is willing to accept this corruption. Now Trump has claimed he knows nothing about this which is an outright lie.

Well we are going to disagree on Homan. I think the liberals refusing to cooperate are the heroes. As I wrote earlier they are acting in the finest American tradition. I liken them to the abolitionist movement and Sanctuary cities to the Underground Railroad. And I believe history will bear this out even if current popular opinion is sadly not with me, As to your first question: when a conservative US Attorney, a former Scalia clerk and member of the Federalist Society says the evidence is overwhelming and when she resigns rather than carry out Trump’s corrupt orders then that’s enough for me.

1. Adams committed bribery and deserves to be in prison. 2. If Homan only concentrated on violent criminals I would be fine with that. But he is going after a lot of innocent people and actually harming children. He is no hero, he is a fascist thug.
