Shut up. What an idiot.

I’ve always seen Trump more as a bumbling idiot than a true threat to our democracy. That’s why I’m saddened by this likely outcome but not despondent the way some of my liberal friends no doubt will be. Not despondent but tremendously disappointed. I honestly believe that we are headed for very bad times ahead. I hope I’m wrong of course. If Trump indeed wins I wish him well and hope things turn out for the best.

If Trump is going to be our President, and the Senate is going to be Republican, I would prefer the House stay Republican. Let’s have a red wave. If that’s what the public wants let’s do it and see what happens.

Trump wins Iowa. So much for the Des Moines register. Ted Cruz wins. This looks to be a great night for Republicans.

It is looking good for him at the moment. She’s just not getting the numbers in Lackawanna or Philadelphia that she needs. Still a lot of counting in Philadelphia though.

Yeah but also reminds me of 2020. Right about this time of night I was pretty down. But about 3 hours later things got better. So we’ll see.

I don’t like what Im seeing. Just being honest. I think you Trump fans should feel pretty good right about now.

My predictions are all still solid at this moment- I’ve got Trump winning North Carolina and Georgia and that seems more likely than not. But overall Trump is doing slightly better than I hoped he would so right now overall things look promising for him.

The immediate call of Florida for Trump is surprising and very good news for him, obviously. News from Georgia is more mixed.

Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Kamala Harris have all texted me in the last 15 minutes asking me for money. What will they do with my money at this point? Isn’t it too late to campaign?

1. I’d vote for Stan Getz, but I think he’s dead. 2. I’d vote for Michael B. Jordan. He’s Rocky’s protege. 3. I’d DEFINITELY vote for Jodie Comer. She’s not eligible but who cares?

Bus is loaded with 60 of my undocumented friends and we are headed to Arizona! First stop Tempe; we will visit 8-10 polling booths. Next is Phoenix. Let’s do this baby! ETA got my special Soros credit card to pay for the gas and dinner later on for the whole crew.

In 2009 abortion wasn’t a “wedge issue”; it was a constitutional right. It wasn’t codified because Democrats didn’t believe back then that Roe would be overturned. They didn’t think that Republicans, knowing how most of the nation felt, knowing that overturning Roe might destroy the GOP for decades, would ever be STUPID enough to give in to the extremists on the right who wanted the Supreme Court stacked with extremist ideologues so that they could rid of it. They were wrong. Republicans were stupid enough to do this, and now they will pay the price. Not just tonight but in many more elections to come.

I think you should run for office on this platform. Oh wait- Republicans do.

I don’t think anyone who thinks Trump will win is a moron. It’s a 50/50 race.

Good luck to everyone today. What a great system we have. Despite all its faults we get to decide who is going to lead us. I don’t think most Americans fully realize how new and marvelous this is. In all of human history we’ve only had this for a very brief time. We take it for granted. Whatever the result I wish everyone well. It’s been fun arguing/ discussing this stuff with you all.

I’m an optimist. I don’t think optimism is the word for Jon. Optimists hope for the he best. They don’t angrily proclaim what is going to happen and call anyone who disagrees a moron.
