Reading this is so depressing. It’s just so ugly, I feel sorry for you. Part of what is depressing is that nobody here responded to it. The U.S. economy is amazing and it continues to do well despite Trump’s policies, not because of them. That said things are slowing down. The good times will not continue, unfortunately.

OK but WHY were you wrong about this? It’s not because you did anything bad yourself. It was because you got it from a source that deliberately lied to you. And that is a much larger problem. Here is my contention: the mainstream media isn’t always accurate, sometimes reports news with a bias, but generally tries to be objective. Right wing media deliberately offers misleading and false information which they know people like you want to hear. So long as you get your news from right wing media, you are ALWAYS going to be misinformed. This won’t be a one-off.

Buyers remorse has already occurred with the majority of Americans and it will continue to grow. By next year it will likely be strong even in this forum though very few will be willing to admit it.

Well you asked. And YOU might not support it but there are plenty of Israelis who do. They are currently protesting the government in big numbers. And you’re trivializing humanitarian objections to what Israel is doing by referring to them as “complaints.” Israel is engaging in war crimes. That’s not a complaint.
